Anyone else going to have a look as the game launches today?
At least there will be no combat issues in that game
Next thing I'm looking forward to is Roma Victor...

Hello to all,
I to have been waiting for this to go live.. I had signed up months ago for the beta test and wasn't one of the few that did get in (Oh Well) I know that it will be a good game in time but I also know that it's going to be filled with buggs and crashes. Hell even the DEV team said this.
One thing about this game that I look forawd to is the lack of LEET for this will be a place that you have to act like a human to get along.
I'm not much of a RP'er but would like to give that a shot so this is going to be the place to do that, thats what it was designed around.
The lack of combat is a odd but cool thing as I could care less about combat or the hack and slash crap thats on the market right now.
The in game clips I have watched were kind of cool with the comic book graphics. I think it was well done.
If it turns out to be half as good as I'm hoping it will be more than twice the game that SWG is now.
Well time to go to work and hope to see some of you in the tower to check it out.
Is there a website?

I'll be waiting for a review, I am curious about this one...
Here is a link Seed website
It's free to get and has a 14 day trial. If you sign up now in may you get 2 month for the price of one. I just came home from a soccer game so I haven't tried it yet... but I'm downloading now

Good luck logging in.
I'm currently checking out Auto Assault (14-day free trial) until SEED seems stable.

As ye SOE, so shall ye weep.
I have played this and while they are offering a free trial, there is a reason. A lot of the features the game boasts aren't fully realized. In fact the NPCs weren't working yet when beta ended. I would expect a bit of disappointment of you pay for the game right away. It may get a lot better with time once they get everything up and running. I still have my eye on this game as it looks like a very unique game experience, if it lives up to it's hype.
Also the skill training system is a lot like EvE Online's being time based and all. You can also get drops that accelerate the learning of a skill you are working towards supposedly, but I never recieved one. You basically repair service panels all day. You need certain skills to repair certain types of damage. This encourages people to work together.
Nice people in the community and a very nice and responsive dev and customer service team. But, little content is in the existing version of the game and performance/lag is also a big issue. This really needed another month or two of development time, or at least a buggy version that had all ofit's boasted features. Maybe they added a lot since beta but the 38MB patch tells me otherwise. I would wait, but that's just me.

Kings of Chaos! Free to play! Great PvP!
I just downloaded the free trial. I really want to like the game as Im a big fan of crafting. However right off the bat things about the game bother me
Apparently it uses DOS coding of some sort. I was surprised to see my old black dos screen pop up with the old C: command lines. I was half expecting to need to type in c: setup.exe to launch the game lol. I guess Win XP didnt eliminate all of DOS mode like Microsoft says it did.
When the game itself launches its in windows mode sorta like City of Heroes bleh. I dont care much for this as I like to minimize games to check out the web. The only way to tab out really is to close the game down.
The movement commands just arent there as far as I can see. The only way I found to move around was using the mouse button to click ahead and wait for your avatar to go to that spot. Arrow keys or W/A/S keys dont move and I couldnt get the keymap screen to even open up (disabled ?)
There are a few minor bugs and the game crashed on me 3 times.
I like the graphics and the community seems rather mature and RP friendly. Im gonna put this one aside and wait on issues getting worked out. It has potential
I payed to beta test SWG for years, I have no inclination to do that again. On the other hand, at least someone at Runestone did give a reason for their decision to release before the game was finished. Catch Smedley doing that!
I will definitely keep an eye on this one though, it has potential.
