Im rather intoxicated, and whats worse ive been watching Fette's Vette and Jedi's Tale. So im feeling real nostalgic, in other words im getting weak. I want so bad to relive the old days and even though I know its no longer there, im jonesing so bad.....i guess what im saying is im getting tempted to chase the dragon.....
Please help me, I know it will only lead to death and destruction. The problem is knowing better and doin better arent always the same thing.....
Im pretty sure if i can get thru the night without relapsing that i will be ok............

LOL If you fall off the wagon, I'll be on Starsider most of the week. The Kates are being persistant, so Chill will just have to deal with the pink smuggler being on vacation. But yes. Remember. This is NOT the game you played before. Move along. Or be damned like me.
Oh the shame, the shame.

Whack your crotch with your mouse a couple of times. Reality will begin and Nostalgia will go away.

I am the flipside of the coin on which the troll and the fanboy are but one side.
I'd compare this situation to having a fantasy involving Carrie Fisher. We always remember her circa 1977-82 in the movies, but if you paid $15 and went into a room and saw her sprawled out naked on a bed I'm sure you'd feel rather mislead by the salesman (Smedley).
But go for it, just remember "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me".
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience"

I feel confident that you are waking up this morning without fuzzy, flashbacks and/or disturbing memories of resubbing to SWG and playing last night. If you did, that is okay.....most of us can understand. There are many players that are active and hate the NGE. It is like being a functional addict.
And its still the Crappy, Ghost Servers, broken, FPS, Lack of Content, Lack of Unique character classes/professions that i left the game for in the first place.
So please listen to my words carefully... If u hated the NGE before, be smart unlike me and try and keep busy so the thoughts of resubbing wont cross ur mind!
Tea! Everywhere!

So, you all sat in camps and that was fun?

Do it buddy...
When you sober up, it'll be the equivalent of waking up in Tijuana with a 63 year old hooker on your side and a tatoo that reads "Oralé" on your chest!
SOE knows what you like... You don't!
And don't forget... I am forcing you to read this!

As ye SOE, so shall ye weep.
Don't forget he has the leather Leia suit he wants to pass on to Azhrarn lol

For every resubscription, Smedley strangles a puppy.

Wow....im not sure what happened last night. Maybe someone dosed my bourbon with liguid acid....not really sure, but thanks to the support (mostly) from you guys I managed to withstand my craving and survive without giving in to my basest desires. (Damn that Belagosa and his Fette's Vette) ......
I must say that having survived without giving the evil one any more money makes me feel kinda of warm and fuzzy....or maybe thats just my hangover. Oh well, thanks again.

In the future I have some suggestions to fend off that urge.
1. Take $15 out of your wallet and set it on fire. It has the same effect.
2. If that doesn't do it. Repeat step one plus take your head and whack it on your keyboard repeatedly until your forehead types something coherant or you begin to see red smudges on your keys.
3. Snap, burn, shred, scrape and/or mangle your SWG CDs NOW!
4. Print out a large picture of Smedley and tape it to your monitor then stare at it for a few minutes repeating "candyman, candyman, candyman" until he appears and does Star Warsy and Iconic things to you.
5. Read the SWG official forums

Excellent suggestion. I especially like number 4, aversion therapy can be quite effective. Hopefully, the "problem" wont rear its ugly head again in the near future.
