Are there any current games that even come close?

I played UO for seven years and left a little while after AOS. AOS was still fun but it just lost that UO feeling, crafting became useless, you hunted for "uber" items all day etc. And I know I can never go back to, though sometimes it crosses my mind. Anyway my question is does anyone know any game that even comes close? I must have played at least 30 mmos since leaving UO and they are all about leveling up and not even 1/5th as deep as UO.
