Just came back...Xs by my names?

Hey I just came back to EQ2 after a couple month break and I have found that several of ym characters have Xs by thier names. I imagine this is so people with inactive subscriptions dont take all the good names, am I right? is there a way to get rid of them? no way Im playing a char with a friggin' X by his name. example "Jimx"

they did this when they merged servers a few months ago.. the name went to the oldest character with that name..if i remember correctly. Just submit a CS ticket on and explain they will helpp you rename your characters.

meh I just restart on a new server the game has changed so much I have to relearn it anyhow and my chars were only in thier 20s
