"...I stared into the casket at the fallen captain for what seemed like
an eternity.  It felt as though my path in life was gone and would now
be buried along with the one man who dedicated his life to the ideals
of Avalorien… the man I followed my whole life. As I sat beside the
captain, a small voice seeped into my ears pulling me from my mournful
trance.  “Grundin.”  I looked around the room until my gaze fell upon a
small child, cloaked in black velvet robes with silver lining.  A hood
covered her face and concealed her identity.  She was the daughter of
the fallen captain.  “Eonia?” I asked somewhat puzzled at her
appearance.  “Grundin… my father asked me to give this too you in the
event that he should fall.  He asked me to instruct you to keep it safe
and speak of it to no one.” She walked quickly to my side and placed a
small object in my hand.  “Please, keep it safe.” She whispered. Almost
as quickly as she arrived, she bolted back out of the room.
 
Somewhat
confused, I opened my hand and inspected the small object she had
placed in my hand.  It was a small silver trinket with the symbol of
the Trueheart delicately crafted into the crown.  It was the trinket
the captain once wore before he was slain. It was what I would come to
know, as the key to the Avalorien Legend." ~

) Avalorien is a story driven, player versus player, role-play guild. 
We are looking for dedicated people that share the same vision and
passion for role play in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes that will help build
the Avalorien story and help it flourish in the new world.

The site is up and 95% complete.  We are currently working out the
details for the rest of the site.  For those of you who have been
following us for some time, we are beginning to really push forward
with memberships and are looking for anyone interested in a casual
guild that plans to RP heavily in Vanguard.

I would just like to give an update and let everyone know that Avalorien is still recruiting. As Vanguard is nearing closer to launch we are taking more steps to insure that we have a strong pre-release community. If you know for sure that you will be playing Vanguard, and you are looking for a fun, mature, casual guild, then Avalorien is the place for you. As stated in title, we are an RP-PvP based guild. (Assuming that ruleset is available) Come check us out!
