While most certainly staying away from big ticket items i have gotten sony ear phones and a sony transiter raido all cheap but no way will deal with them for standard home entertainement equipment.

If you are a vet of SWG and wanna tell L.A. and SOE that they screwed up, nows your chance. Obviously they are listening now, or want to listen or they would not have posted this poll. I'm sorry but I just had to laugh at SteveDfonts post regarding Vanguard.
I am not a SOE hater (I don't like their business tactics and how they view their player base) but i'm sorry to say Vanguard is an average MMO and is not ground breaking so it certainly will not be turning SOE in to MMORPG gurus. SOE are an company which has an average MMO line up and can not develope massively successfull MMO's, just look at their current line up. The reason Microsoft dumped Vanguard is because they heard the hype then saw the product and were thinking is this the same game you told us about? Thats why they have back Age of Conan which compared to Vanguard just on visuals and character customisation alone leaves VGSOH for dust.

I played the beta of vanguard. Hated it. Graphics are less than desireable. Animations sucked and so did the storyline. I wish people would quit saying that Vanguard is for Star Wars Vets. NOT. I'm tired of the same ol' same 'ol fantasy MMORPG. I use to be a fantasy fan myself but the RPG world is too one sided. It gets annoying.
I will, I rather enjoy SWG as it now is. It might have indeed be better pre-CU, but I still like it. I do not see an reason to boycot SoE at all, becouse clearly they have changed there policy regarding SWG.
I feel that the SW franchise would do well with a new SW MMO. I love the whole SW universe but the current Galaxies are falling behind. Not sure if any of you have seen the new LOTRO? They have beautiful graphics with incredible environment. The thing is that their combat, and almost any other MMO, is better than the current NGE... i am currently playing it though to get a feel for some *real* crafting that i miss so much.
If they want to continue on as a competitor they will have to make a new MMO... well, hopefully they will.

Well, I can't say that I will boycott SOE forever, but I certainly won;t be jumping onboard with blind faith anymore. I will be very cautious from now on and will watch SOE's closely for a month or two after launch.
Although I wasn't burnt too badly by SWG (Had just begun playing it right before the NGE) I did get burnt by VG.
Voted, and no way I would buy an SOE MMO, or any MMO with the SOE tag. Vanguard can be a testament to that since I didn't buy it. I know Sigil supposedly made the coding and what not, and SOE simply published. But I'm not giving them ANY of my money, not even the tiniest percentage off of my money that they would've gotten for publishing the game. Old fashioned? maybe. Silly? Not really, customers OUGHT to make their voices heard and I'm making mine be heard loud and clear. I WILL NOT buy ANY MMO that has the SOE logo on it. No matter how little the involvement in the project. Why? Because no matter how small their involvement is, they will STILL be getting some of my money.
Right now I am very much looking forward to Star Trek Online. I want to become drooling STO fanboy and play the game for hours on end. I search out tidbits of information and news about the game and I just can't wait to play it.
But if SOE becomes involved in any way I won't touch it. SOE has shown that they just don't care about loyal customers--for them it's all about bringing in new players at the expense of the existing population so I won't play any game that SOE is involved with.
