I have one problemb with the Ultima series.   So much money is spent, the gametime, buying new expansions and so on.  Now the new one is coming out same thing more money.  Does not EA have enough money to buy their own island?!  I mean gosh....they are killing off alot of their young consumers aka me who have no credit card and does not bother to ask parents.  I mean can we not cut the price here?  What will it hurt to cut the price a little?!

Yea, i understand what you are saying but the prices arent directly set by EA but from the company managing the servers that EA is using. Like last year, the prices for alot of MMORGP's increased at around the same time, i dont believe that the gaming companies wanted to do this but i think it was the companies running the servers that made the increase in price. Just my two cents

Yeah totally, I agree with Dukaseen. Prices aren't directly set from EA, its rather the servers which decide how much the monthly fee is. And whe we pay that 12.95 / month its not all going right to EA. They have to pay off the servers which all the million gamers play on. And in my opinion, paying monthly isn't that bad....i love the game and just the fact that i get to play with thousands of others at the same time in the same land can't even be calculated in my brain!

Oh, and i wouldn't complain about UO's series and expansions too much. If you haven't already, check out EQ's, and you'll see a large line up, not to mention the expense at which each EQ expansion is.

UO expansions are what like 20$? The old ones were even lower. EQ stomps that with around 40$ / expansion! In the end its your choice- but consider my 12.95 in EA's pocket

I think all of the MMORPGs out there run the same basic deals for the monthly fee...give or take a few bucks. As far as UO/UXO are concerned I'm pretty satisfied with the pricing deal they plan to run where you pay one subscription rate for both games. That's alot of gaming for me. Of course, I hope that they take into account all of the other prices that are out there once the game is released and expansions start happening (UXO that is). Either way, I don't expect any general rates for these games to be going down anytime soon.
