The world will have a real economy with a fixed pool of money and
resources, and almost all items in the world will be created by other
players. When the game is first launched, it will pretty much just only
be a huge forest, and it will be up to the players to build the towns
and create the items needed for both everyday use and more exotic
practices. Wurm Online will neither have levels nor hitpoints. Instead,
you have a set of skills that define your character, and a list of any
unhealed wounds the character has.
Gameplay is expected to be very down to earth and community-based for
most players, with each town serving as a small community. Towns will
also remain safe as long as the computer controlled guards are alive.
You won't be able to attack other players or perform any other illegal
activity inside the town without first killing all the guards. Outside
the towns, however, you can do anything you want, but performing
illegal activities will lower your status in the nearby villages)))))////
Come beta test now if you havent tryed the game!

We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started... and know the place for the first time.

i'll admit that i'm personally a fanboy of the game... heres as unbiased as i can get.
complete compatiablity on any OS
works on older comps
new CLIENT complete revamp of th graphics engine. runs very very smoothly and has much better grapics.
you can build your own house/homestead/town anywhere<< how could you not like that
a safe server and PvP server<< PvP actually has a reason besides killing.
by far has the least restrictions compared to a high percent of single player games and all mmorpgs<< not biased actually t
won't notice any level grind until/if you WANT to master a trade<< don't need to be a high level to make high QL stuff.... leveling happens while your doing someing instead of leveling to do something. unless of course you want it the other way
and has a very good community(ies).
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
if they revamped the graphics engine I must give it a try. When I tried it about a year ago it was so god ugly even Runescape looked better... (and no, thats not apples to oranges, theyre both feeble attempts at a game in java =P)
