in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

There is a glut of elves and orc MMORPG's on the market, a quick glance at the game list proves it. And with more being launched constantly the competition is fiercer then ever, and if you think Mythic Entertainment isnt up to this challenge with their latest offering - Warhammer i suggest you reconsider.

Mythic proved they are capable with the last title in this genre they launched - DAOC. Unlike many companies, not only did Mythic deliver a great product many have enjoyed but the launch of that product was one of the smoothest in MMORPG history (honestly i never saw a better launch and i started MMO's when EQ was launched back in 1999).

No company is perfect of course, but i fully expect Mythics latest offering here to stand head and shoulders above most of the crowd at the very least. So feel free to raise your expectations a bit higher then normal, Mythic doesnt have a history of releasing crappy products that crash to desktop every 15 min or so.......

Trivia - the worst MMO launch in history was Cornered Rats - WW2 online. There where many others who where terrible like Funcom's Anachy Online but Cornered Rat took the award hands down.

    hell yeah anarchy online aint very great

    I hope the gameplay in this game will be of an equal lvl as tale in desert

    AO might have had a bad start...but it didnt amazingly concidering that.

    The point of the topic is self evident- Many promise a great game and a smooth launch, but how many have actually delivered?

    And im not interested in how AO eventually ended up years later, They say World War 2 online is a nice stable well made game now also... So what? I dont buy games with the expectation that 2 or 3 years from now the developers will finally get their act together, i expect them to have their act together on day 1.

    Its absolutely true that all MMORPG's have bugs and no release is spotlessly perfect - But the public should expect a certain level of competency, why suffer fools? Isnt your time valuable? Mine sure as hell is.
