I'm sure some of you guys might have seen John Stossel's report on well ALOT of things. One thing that stuck out to me was that he claimed price gouging is in actuallity a good thing for the world as a whole.

He had 3 nobel prize winners backing him up too. That really puts a twist on things you think???

I faded in and out among most of the tape but, I heard a story from kentucky he talked about. What happened was a man is selling generators at a much higher price during the disaster. He claims he did this because he planned on sending them to the disaster relief area.

But, when some official's caught wind of his overpriced merchandise they confiscated the goods and left it to sit in the police evidence room not to help aid the victims.

There was more to it but, I can't remember. Thoughts?

They made good points. During a disaster for example is you price gouge supplies people need to live then people can only buy one or two supplies for example so they can live comfortable. If the supplies stay the same price then people can 5 supplies so they can be really comfortable but then Average joe number 2 gets screwed and then the company can't supply him till next week....
