im always on the look out on new mmos to play. i love playing new games and dont like to stay in one spot too long. thats why i only played everquest 2 for about a year then left. not because eq2 was bad, it was because i wanted to play something new.
i am currently playing dungeons and dragons online as my mmo of choice at this time. because mmos have a $15 a monthly fee and require more time and energy then single player games. mmos is like a second job and i could only play one at a time because of the monthly fee.
there are a few future mmos i got my mind on.
1. Warhammer online
2. Lord of the rings online
3. Vanguard
4. Gods and Heroes
this list might changed over time, but if I were to have a choice right now. i would go to Gods and Heroes. that probably will be my next mmo to play. for now i dont know how long i will stay with Dungeons and dragons online. im going to pay for 3 months just to see how the game goes during that time.
what is your next mmo you are thinking about getting some time in the future?
Have played: CoH, DDO EQ2, FFXI, L2, HZ, SoR, and WW2 online

ill try:
archlord- no intention of liking it
Huxley
PSU- hoping to play for a long time..hope its good
conan-looking foward to
war-duh
My next mmo will be Age of Conan and I'll probably try APB if it ever comes out.
Currently playing AA, but just to hold my off till these.
1. Warhammer Online- This will be the next big one if it stay on track. Love the humor of warhammer. Im putting my money on this one. I hope they bring some new things to the MMO scene.
2. Vanguard - what seems to be a nice crafting system, just hope they throw a bone to people that dont have the hardcore hours.
3. Saving 3rd for an under dog un-yet decided
I also switch MMOs quite often. 6 months is the longest that I've been hooked on one, but that is mostly my own fault of getting bored too quick
I'm looking out for:
1. (2006) Dungeon Runners - free to play and download - I'm hoping this to be my fall back MMO. Whenever, I get bored, I can always hop in here and play some games without having to worry about paying every month
2. (2007) Huxley- MMOFPS - I'm also trying to find something new and exciting. This looks like it might just be that. I'm still waiting to learn more, but so far everything looks good for me. This is a p2p (I think, hasn't been stated otherwise yet), so I'm holding off to learn more. Its not scheduled for release until 2007.
3. I haven't had time to dedicate to a full time MMO lately, so I don't have anything that I'm planning on picking up this year. So far my biggest hope for my "last MMORPG that I'll ever need to subscribe to" was a total let down in alpha/beta and I can't bring myself to purchase it now that its been released.
4. Whatever BioWare is planning will be on my RADAR for a long time. They are one company that hasn't let me down so far...
1 - ArchLord
2 - 9Dragons
3 - SystemHolic Online Rohan
The first two I'm watching very carefully, while Rohan is something that I'll keep an eye on but I don't think I'll follow as closely as I'm doing with ArchLord and 9Dragons.
Warhammer and Age of Conan both look excellent!
Conan certainly looks like it's bringing quite a few good and NEW ideas to the table, so I think that will be the most interesting MMO on the horizon. And I think Warhammer will be huge, just from the existing fan base, so I have to try that too.
Age of Conan
there are some good asian mmos are coming out soon. however, with me im 0 for 2 with asian mmos. i played final fantasy XI and Lineage 2, both were just completely terrible. there are alot of cool looking ones, like Aion, Huxley, Archlord and RF online. hopefully people here will give good reviews about them and ill consider on getting them.
Have played: CoH, DDO EQ2, FFXI, L2, HZ, SoR, and WW2 online
In order:
Hero's Journey
Warhammer
The Cronicles of Spellborn
Will probably play TCoS till HJ comes out. Will have to see how WAR shapes up, but I dont think it can touch HJ.
Heroes Journey OR/AND Warhammer
AND
Whatever BioWare is working on! BioWare, true RPG devs are preparing a masterpiece MMO!

Based on earliest release, probably Chronicles of Spellborn but hopefully Pirates of the Burning Sea.

I like the idea its a FPS instead of a click target click attack interface, and overall the game world seems more my style than any other upcoming game.
So sick of the same old swords, spells and dragons default seen in 85% of online games, but among them i'd say warhammer is the most promising.
mainly i can't wait for Fallen Earth to come out though.
i am really looking forward to gods and heroes. this game is actually finished and ready to go. it probably be ready by this christmas.
yep, i really like mytholocial creatures, like centaurs or minotaurs so this game will suit me.
im excited for this game. if it was avaliable tomorrow i will probably give ddo another two months before I move to gods and heroes.
Have played: CoH, DDO EQ2, FFXI, L2, HZ, SoR, and WW2 online

Vanguard, OLDSCHOOL ver 2.0 FTW!!!!
For anyone that doesn't know, Vanguard will be one of the big next gen MMOs! No, not the BIG MMO, but one of them.
I'm thinking that the next generation will have a range of new kinds of MMOs, with Vanguard being that one game that draws from classic MMOs (SWG pre-CC/NGE, EQ pre-Luclin, etc). While coming up with next gen ideas. This game, while belonging mainly to a niche market (oldschoolers, which make up of about 300,000 people, and core gamers, which range from about 500,000-750,000 people), will be the game that you can go to, and have a warm feeling as you make the run from one of the 14 starting cities to who knows where, and get your butt kicked by some lvl 20 mob. You will then earn a sense of cautiousness, in one of the largest virtual worlds to date... This isn't your 10 year old's World of Warcraft, not anymore.
And of course we have about 10 or so other MMOs coming out soon, each of them with completely new markets and gameplay styles (Age of Conan to name one), all of them will be next gen, including Vanguard(remember when I said oldschool ver 2.0???). Vanguard will also be getting rid of timesinks and long, boring boat rides, by replacing them with content. Sea creatures will attack boats, downtime will be minimized to a EQ2 esque downtime (pretty balanced), you can have parties on boats, you can trick em' out for a nice cruise on the lake, with your online gf/bf (okay, scratch that last one ). There will be flying mounts at launch, armored mounts, even UNDEAD mounts! Like I said before, the game will retain what made EQ classic immersive and fun, while adding innovative ideas to it to keep it from being EQ 1.5 instead of what it is targeting: Vanguard, the game that runs with 'The Vision(tm)2.0' spirituality!
