new interview on here
http://www.tentonhammer.com/index.php?module=ContentExpress&func=display&ceid=332
what i wanted to point out is how nice the two screenshots are, not prerendered but ingame screenshots, in my opinion close to any new game comin out, and a "dark"fall atmosphere
and
why they dont use these settings for most interviews i dont know, but we can see that they dont always look like an older game

The house of peace is built on the foundation of war.
You must conquer the land before you build you house and live in peace.
I don't think the warpig information is new, but the screenshot definetely is. And those screens do look quite a lot better than the last set, but I have a bit of a problem with sprited grass. Not just in Darkfall, but I hope they have an option to turn that off.

Maybe, but I wouldn't try hiding in those 3 inch high clumps of grass that were in those screenshots.
Also, the game still looks a fair way better than what I've seen of Mourning (and yes I mean the new Age of junk.)
Which reminds me of something quite humerous I recently discovered:
two new pics. I doubt that anyone can whine about graphics anymore
pic 1
pic 2
and this too:
"You're going to see and hear a lot of Darkfall in the coming weeks. For
now we're going to give media a chance to catch up and release the info
that we've given them. This is why this post doesn't contain any
information in itself. As I said, we're just checking in."
I was more referring to the artistic look but that is of course matter of taste so lets not go there. As for low poly count, you are correct. Certainly they could have bigger poly count but then the gameplay would most likely suffer, twitch combat in large scale battle (hundreds of people in same spot) is something where you want to have as small lag as you can get. This game is not some instanced pve game.
I am the type of player where I like to do everything and anything from time to time.

which? you mean ageofmourning? this is just plain dumb and hateful.. darkfall has no where near the graphics that other game has or most any other mmorpg's. be real one of df's strong points is not its graphics.

i saw a post from a tester who said that games world looked comparable to Oblivion to him. graphics dont make great games but be real at east.
Anyone who's reading this and thinks age of mourning might be worth a look, read this first:

"Also, the game still looks a fair way better than what I've seen of Mourning (and yes I mean the new Age of junk.)"
You knew what I was saying, don't play dumb and crop my post.
Also, those screenshots honestly don't look to great. Sure the engine might have a bit more grunt than Darkfall's but the world looks bland and drab, and there is no evdence of good artsyle in them. Show us a screenshot with some characters.
And if anyone finds that comparable to Oblivion then they need a serious headcheck.
