Carebear:
One who can't stand to lose to another player and suffer consequence. One who cannot handle verbal abuse from others when they lose in combat. Slow minded individual with a slow response time. The type of person who gets the "everybody is a winner" award. Can only handle combat with NPC's in which the AI is inferior. One who collects 10 feathers and brings them back to "Rufus" for 5 copper.

Yes, NPC AI might suck.
But, the RI ( real intellligence ), of the lonely attention seekers in the battle between gankers and carebears is so low one do not even have to engage the enemy, they just keep killing themself in posts like these.

I play EVE and do plenty of PvP, people who give verbal abuse after winning (or in any situation) are usually children that get bullied at school and come to cyberspace to abuse someone else.

In the neverending war of PKers Vs. Carebears lets get some facts straight. (Notice this is just in Ultima Online over the past few years.)
PKers:
1. Usually gank in groups of 4-5 people
2. All have weird names like xDEATHKILLERx, Playaz, Akewldood3243
3. Urinate on corpse of victims.
4.Accuse Carebears of banksitting.
5. Preach how the Carebears need to learn how to play the game while forcing their playstyle on others.
Carebears:
1. Do not want to lose any items like the precious wooden stick when dieing.
2. Swear a PKer is a real criminal who kills people in real life.
3. Accuse PKers of using cheats and speedhacks and thats why they died.
4. Preach and whine on messageboards about Pkers being little kids and the devs need to alter the game to fit their playstyle.
5. Threaten the devs that they are going to cancel all 20+ accounts if they dont change the game code so they have maximum item and experience insurance if killed by another player.
I would say both sets of players are equally annoying. PKers tend to do their work inside the game to force their playstyle on others, Carebears tend to poach the messageboards threatening and demanding the game code be changed to force the devs to fit their playstyle.
Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL!
I wasn't thinking about it before, but such a strong selling point I'll have to check it out.

LOL, now a carebear is someome who doesn't like their gaming punctuated with "FAGGOT" "LOL, YUO SUXOR N00B" and "PWNED" comments, plus the inevitable swearfest and detailed description of homosexual activity (people who use 'FAGGOT' as an insult often also seem to like to talk a lot about gay sex acts). What sane person would want to put up with "abuse" anyway? And who would want to pay for it (well maybe people into BDSM, but most of that crowd doesn't want abuse from teenaged boys)?

One who thinks beating another player (who is probably at half health after a mob fight) in an MMO is some sort of accomplishment. One who thinks it's fine to verbally abuse someone just because they beat them in a game (also one who thinks calling someone a carebear is verbal abuse when it is actually high praise). One who thinks winning in a game makes them a winner in life.
