wtf shadowbane is free?

Today for some reason I checked my Ubisoft account and found out my Shadowbane subscription was active, so I investigated further to find out Shadowbane is now completely free! All expansions, no monthly fees, how wonderful, so now I'm installing a game I was once addicted to and hopefully I can rebuild a nation! Lets all go back to Shadowbane!

Liked: Shadowbane, Neocron, Ultima Online(Before UO:R)
Not Sure about: DAoC
Disliked: AC1, Everquest 1, Everquest 2, World of Garbage(Warcraft), Eve Online, Jumpgate, AC2, Anarchy Online, Sims Online, Saga of Ryzom, Lineage II, City of Heroes, FFXI, Planetside, UO:R(and after)

    umm..as far as I know, ubisoft announced they will pull the plug out of Shadowbane soon.

    As far as I know, Wolfpack Studios (an Ubisoft controlled company) was shutdown by Ubisoft. Yes, the game is now free to play, and Ubisoft (the parent company) is now maintaining it. Whether or not they will indeed shut it down is sketchy. Looks like right now they are just going to maintain it indefinitely.

    i went on to ubi's website to check it out but i can't figure out how to look at my list of subscriptions. anyone wanna point me in the right direction?

    okay, i figured it out. but i only have the original shadowbane, is there any way to download the expansions for free?

    just go to the free trial section and download it
