My fellow refugees, I have sorely missed this game.  I missed the open worlds, the hunt of the Jedi, and oh so much more.

I will be returning once again!

But this time on a trial account... just to ride a swoop around some Krayts on Tatooine.

Alas the game I loved is now dead all that remains is a shadow of what it once was.

Now to go find the trial signup!

I would come and join you but I just can't. Every time I think about the game, or I play a trial run of it, I get depressed. So many memories...And to think that I bought a second account just when the game went down the drain.

You won't get planetside on a trial account. Space station and geolabs mock-up. That's it.

come on lets all get some trial accounts pick a server ride around a bit....

we could go check out wayfar and what everyone thought was the tuscan fort and then learned wasn't....
we could check out the destroyed base between bestine and anchorhead...
we could ride around the krayt graveyard for kicks....

and when we are all done we can go harass some fanbois and laugh at all the people still holding out hope!

Hey it was a nice thought but they are correct in the fact that the trial has you on a tether at the space station and mining asteroid.  To relive your dream you'll have to reactivate an old account for a month..

There is a 39% to 59% chance that SOE or LEC would introduce Pre-CU servers. Your assumption that it will happen is only that, an assumption. Unless you know for fact and have sufficient documentation we can only consider Pre-CU a past time to tell the kids about when we are at the age to bore them with stories of the "good ol' days."

I just completed a last run of all my ol stompin grounds last week. As I arrived at those locations memories just flooded from the ol days.

well, I just remebered that though u will not be able to run on the planets with the trial option, u can board the same space station as otehr players.

I saw a French player in my space station, he greeted me, but there was only so much I could say with my limited French.  Nonetheless, I was surprised to see him, because I had always assumed the trial was a private instance.
That was the only player I have ever seen in my 3 times of doing the trial area (did it twice when I had my 14-day vet trial).

Uggh this thread pisses me off............  and for the record i started playing SWG back in May of 04 and still do to this day. My point in replyin here is this:  NOBODY CARES ABOUT HOW UPSET YOU ARE ABOUT A VIDEO GAME. People posting saying SWG is dead blah blah, it sucks now blah blah. " wha wha  I just can't find the heart to log in any more" I laughed my ass off at that rofl.  Many people still find it enjoyable and its getting better. Ya i liked some aspects of Pre-CU, CU and the NGE, but all this whining is so Edited ridiculous. I mean you all act like your somebody special and it cracks me up.  Get the Edited over yourselves all you whiny, crybaby haters and stop posting shit like this, its so old.  You all sound like a bunch of stupid, old fools saying Edited like " well we'll be able to tell the grandkids about the good ol' days"  Are you Edited serious people?  A video game?!?!   Sure you had some enjoyable moments in the past but omfg its an MMO, its going to change. If you don't like it, then stop playing and stop posting threads like these. If you do like it, then play it. PERIOD.

Ok, this one is just plain weird....  The guy has a sig that says "SWG Blows", he says the game is dead.  But he's returning...  And to top it all off he wants to "go harass some fanbois and laugh at all the people still holding out hope!".
