If you need to join a special "RP Guild" in order to find people and actually RP then it probably isn't that great of a RP game.
My experience is that the good RP games have casual RP and you can find it everywhere, and the guilds just make it better.
Ryzom had a decent RP community at launch IMO, but the community died off and isn't there anymore and Nevrax hasn't really done anything to support the RP community that I've seen. Too bad because the game system makes for a pretty decent system for a RPer community.
Just tried SEED as well, but uninstalled it after about 2 hours of frustration with the game. Needs more polish as a game first before I try to RP in it but it might have potential sometime down the road.
From all the serious RP guilds I've been a part of most people I know that are RPers are just floating from game to game right now.
I myself am probably going to go back to Horizons because it has the best RP community I've found so far this year and a community that is fun and mature to play with.
