my first GW experience

ok, i put the cd in my pc, installed GW, made an account, created an character and started playing...

the first thing i think is "WTF?!?!?!" because the graphics are amazing!!! I lvl up to lvl 3, began playing the story and it's just amazing! joined a guild, made a pvp-character and played some guild war's.... just awesome playing them!!

It was really worth buying this game! but, now i have to stop typing, cause i gotta play GW again

Yeap, I just got myself a new decked out computer so I could play GW and WoW at faster speeds.

I'm enjoying the non lag when I pvp now. But, I often see myself sitting there and complaining because one of our teamates will start lagging and end up sitting still the entire pvp match.

WoW is great in all, but I'm the kind of guy who loves fast pase games.

I can't stand to sit around and work all day just to gain one freakin' level. Except Final Fantasy XI, I enjoyed that more than I thought I would.

My computer is acient, but it still plays GW fine and dandy, tho not as dandy as I would like

yeah i agree... those who start guild wars and say "i got bored really quick" has never played/isnt playing guild wars and is playing a different game/has no taste in games watsoever

Easily the most fun I've had in a game in a long long time

And I agree... anyone who says Guild Wars is 'boring' seriously needs to try actually playing the game.  I ran across someone in game in pre-searing who said he was bored.  I was like 'how the heck can you be bored?'

He goes:  I'm tired of having to kill so many monsters to level....

I'm like ????? Killing monsters to level?  Aren't you doing the quests???

He goes:  "Nah, quests in MMO's suck.  They're always so damn boring"

I replied:  "Have you TRIED them?"

Him: "No"

Me: Go try them

Him 20 minutes later:  "This game is so awesome!!!!  THANKS!"

i just want to add a lilte something

i had the chance to do 4 elite mission runs , 1 on luxons side , we didnt go very far , and 3 on kurzick , witch is my side , the first we were doing fine , but becose of some bad players we died at a point , after we start another run , almost the same team , we reached the end , argoz room killed us all , it was a 6 hour run with unknow people , and becose it was in international , we had people from all over the globe , the leader was chinese.

3rd run , was just now , im still a bit dizzy , i went to town saying , i had seen argoz and that i was a nuker looking for group , someone wisper me saying " want to start a party and lead ? " ... so i did it , with the build i had in mind , took us about 15 min to make it ... ill post it here , my original idea was :

1 tank
1 ritualist
1 mesmer
1 SS
1 MM
2 nukers
2 ranger
3 monks

yes 12 people party
but one tank was stuck with another , so we took 2 tanks and only one nuker ( me )
after i think 5 hours , we died in the same room , i still have no clue how to do it
i have always loved the hard stuff in guildwars , fow , uw , sorrow furnace , the new tomb , before all this i use to do fire island missions a lot just for fun and to help newcomers

now this elite missions , are making me feel that guildwars joy again , a new chalange , and this time is really much harder then the others , i think becose most players there are good players , with a good leading voice , ( not just mine , we talked many times , everyone adds something helpfull at some point ) and above all team work , that feeling of " we have to work as a team or we die in less then 10 seconds "
12 people team is just a great bonus

my first really amazing experience in factions , i loved all of what ive done so far , dont get me roung , but this urgoz place ...

btw , each run was on diferent days , and it was all i did , after each run i went to sleep.
