Definitely SWG for the first 6 months it was out. I was on Chilastra the NPC cities were bustling, faction street fights were common, and I could yank 3 storm toopers or 2 AT-ST's out of my imp butt to turn the tide of a battle. Then they started "fixing" everything and it slowly deteriorated to the low population servers and lame gameplay that will probably soon make this game die. I really wish Lucasarts would get their head out of their you-know-whats and find a developer to redesign and try this concept again. A quick shout to all former members of SABRE...it was fun while it lasted.
For balls to the wall, fall off my chair pee in my pants fun, I have to say ... (and don't laugh)
City of Heroes.
I'm not a grouper, but I grouped alot in that game and had a blast. Me and 2 co workers created a super group called the Marshmallow men. We each had the character name "Marshmallow Man" One with the correct spelling, one with the first L a large i, and one with the second L a large i. All three spellings looked Identical. My buddies gave me thier account sign ons and I made all three guys identical. Big Fat Stay puft marshmellow looking guys. HUGE..with big shit eating grins on thier faces. All white. We had a rule that we could not just walk or run but had to JUMP whereever we went. So when we moved around it was hilarious, three identical characters with the same exact name bouncing around. I've never laughed so hard.
I took a healer to lvl 37 and a scrapper to lvl 37 and couldn't go any higher than that however... just lost interest.

Ultima Online came after Meridian 59 and The Realm online.
My fav was SWG Pre JEDI trial version 1.0 .... LOL After they changed the JEDI grind twice. i pretty much quite noticing they had no clue what they were doing.

I'm not laughing that's my answer too.
DM/Inv Scrapper and Fire/Ice Blaster (and a ****load of alts). I'm definitely more of a group person in CoH (even tho I do play more CoV nowadays), but I solo'ed alts up to 30+ with no problem. CoH was a really refreshing break from the Tolkien-esque elf/dwarf/orc fantasy MMORPGs out there. I still haven't lost interest, I think I'll be playing that game for as long as it runs.
-------------- Played: Age of Conan, DDO, Saga of Ryzom, SWG, DaOC, MxO, EQ2, and so on... Wish List: Jumpgate Evolution, Star Wars: TOR, Star Trek
Ultima Online, without a doubt. I have so many memories of logging on the first time, going outside of WBB (west brit bank) and going to find headless ones. I loved recalling/gating to nice places to do nothing, like Moonglow or Trinsic...they had no real purpose other than looking cool.
Now that I think of Moonglow, who could forget vorpal bunnies just outside of Moonglow...ahh the memories.
The memories ... my first char, being new. So lost ... Huge universe with such a unique playstyle... Creating my first guild town... Owning my first landspeeder. Joining the first PvP raid. Advancing the guild's trading organisation. Placing the first shuttleport in my town. Having the first war-room meeting. All the cute roleplayers. The open RP armosphere. Watching entertainers. Hearing player stories...
... R-I-P SWG ...

Lots of good pvp action (back before NC2), vehicles, playerclan apartments, outposts... There was so much you could do in the game. I swear, it has to be the best game ever made excluding the horrible bugslag in the game.
I remember when I got into my first clan. I can't even remember the name of it (it was some japanese name.) But.. I accepted the invite and I was in this mid-level fighting zone, just beating up monsters for lootxp when I get ganked by these 2 guys... They had been ganking me endlessly for the past few days... but now I had friends! I called them over to help me over (we were all mid-level. no one was capped at all) and they came right away. We squashed those pk'ing bastards and took their weapons hahaha. I loved how the drops worked in Neocron back then, one item from your quickbelt would drop.
I remember doing huge outpost fights... Learning you could not trust anyone who was not in your clan-- even then, be careful who you trust in your clan! I was hanging around at this one outpost, but by myself. This one Pistol PE comes over to me and says "Can I shoot you a bit, to see how much damage I can do?" I say sure.. But if you do more than a few hits I -will- kill you. She did only do a few hits, but they did hurt badly... if she kept going I could have killed her-- but barely. So, later on that day... she comes with about 8 of her friends. They found out my defense wasn't that great and I only had a few other clanmates on at the time. If she didn't know how bad it was she would not have attacked to begin with.
That was back in late 2002, early 2003. I have not found a game that has kept my interest and given me more fun than Neocron. Neocron was my most favorite mmo and will probably always will be-- nobody wants to try to "clone" this game... which is foolish.
If the bugs are fixed I'll go back. ....oh, and get a US server? ^.^
AO roleplay community (back when it had one) before Shadowlands of Everquest. The loss of the RP-community, the change of the game to class-based instead of skill based with no class balance at all, horrible PvP and broken/missing content in expansions ruined it for me. This game is played out for me and it would take more than Funcom seems willing to put into it to get me back.
Saga of Ryzom in focus beta. Dynamic Kitin raids over outposts, good solo/team play, no ganking. Patch 1 and Episode 2 were like the combat uprade to SWG for their fans.
Feeling kind of blah and everything in development right now, but keeping my eye on Vanguard and Fallen Earth while RPing in Horizons.
I played EQ and UO for years a piece. I was addicted completely. I played Auto Assault for a solid month before I decided I can't afford an mmorpg right now.
The most pure fun I ever had? Auto Assault hands down. It's just pure fun in a can.
I like Final Fantasy XI and Tantra Online.what can i like this game.Because this game have great storyline. With the storyline i not boring if i playing game. Not only storyline but this game have good graphic and funny comunity.I like expansion of this game. ................
Actually the game I had most fun with was tibia, a not too good looking 2d game but it was very deep and very addicitive... I played it for like 2 years until I started playing wow because all my rll mates moved there
Hmm most fun... Anarchy Online, its funny with all reets saying skeet skeet and leets etc. Its really good game for having fun. Lot of different dances and stuff.
I like most of 'em. But the most fun is Auto Assault. Yea, it's not as refined as some MMO's, but it is an absolute blast to play, especially for a simpleton like me.
Right now Conquer-online is keeping me most interested. And, I can't believe I ever played this game......... Runescape. I was playing Runescape for about one year and I must admit that it was pretty fun while it lasted. After that IT just got turned into a very boring, dull, stupid game and I have not played it since. ( Conquer-online is way better than that gay game.)
most fun i had was Earth and Beyond...played it to 150 then it shut down and then i had a blast at SWG Pre-Cu i really liked crafting and harvesting and doing all the trader/vendor stuff...along with me jedi that was fun..really wish it was back..
I have to agree with ValliumSummer and VoodooKhan, and say CoH/CoV was the most in terms of no-hassle fun factor.
I'm not saying its the best game, or the game that will have you playing for days and months on end. The retention rate is pretty low, but that doesn't mean you don't have loads of fun while you are there.
If you want something really deep and vast, CoV/CoH won't keep your interest for long. But if you just want to kick back and try something new for the summer, this might be the game.

I agree. Runescape was good and fun ages ago, but now it has gotten old. The game I have most fun with is RYL 2. Its free, good graphics, awesome gameplay. But WOW looks alot better. I WISH I COULD GET THAT GAME!
COH and then SWG were the two I had the most fun with. Both games came out with the possibility to build into something great and the Dev teams made the games inconsitant and less fun rather then better.
I used to play it with my friends from work and school everynight. It's the most fun I've ever had playing a game. I remember how excited we got when Shrouded Isles came out.
But then we kind of went seperate ways on gaming. I wish I could have a good time like that again.
