Merge Servers

in Auto Assault

Due to low population, merge servers please.  Maybe people might actually get to see other players once in a while.  This will be helpful in the PvP areas too.  Thanks.

    I agree completely, though I have run into players on a regular basis, i think one big server would be fantastic

    The servers were merged already!

    okay okay..calm down...relax..breathe...

    ..thats right..all the Auto Assault servers were merged into 1 server called NEXUS about 4 months ago (roughly)..

    what planet have you been on? lol

    good for them!  now if they would only bring back the original Beta client that was FUN, rather than that total re-write of boredom and annoyance that they introduced before launch, this game might actually have had a life.  They tried to make it pretty.  Foolish.

    rahzinn..have you actually checked out the game recently?

    AUction House and ingame Mail system along with Skill balance passes (on PTS NOW) and new outpost system with new pvp kill token drop system is in place (on LIVE NOW).

    OR do you prefer the factionally biased unbalanced version of the game where HUmans ruled?

    I don't know about the factionally biased unbalanced part...actually I seem to recall that there were some major issues with Humans at that point that made them unplayable.  I played a Biomek and LOVED it!  I was much happier with the game mechanics, graphics and playability at that point.  The Human characters I tested were ok, if boring, and Mutants were a bit more interesting in terms of starting areas and nearby zones.  So no, I haven't checked it out lately, nor am I likely to.  I understand that they probably felt they had to switch to that vastly different client, but it was a fundamental change that did not appeal to me.

    The game mechanics have been through some sweeping changes since then. BAlance wise, each faction has had a taste of being 'uber' whilst the balancing has being gone over. Now with the new 10 point skill system, every faction has the same ranks and points to spend (160 instead of 153). This means you can max 16 skills which is more than you can atm on Live.

    Anyway..playtesting is underway and its all looking good so far.

    Biggest thing is devs are so devoted to this game they have been on overtime to get this next patch out to the players.
