could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please?
In most MMOs if you see two people that are same class and same level, they have the exact same armor on.
But in WoW there are so many types of armors, and quests that give unique armors, the choices for your armor and looks are highly customizable.

I just started today, and I like the game alot and all, its just that I can't find a race or class that I seem to like.
I've created about 6 characters and leveled them all up, and I havn't found a single class that I like yet

But in WoW there are so many types of armors, and quests that give unique armors, the choices for your armor and looks are highly customizable.
from your posts, i see that you're new to wow.
talk to me when you hit 60 about customization. not only can you not change the color on anything you own; but there is only one armor at high level for 90% of the players. tier 0.5 (or 1/2), tier 1, tier 2, and finally tier 3. everyone will be wearing it. the gnome warlock will be dressed exactly like the human warlock (just way shorter).
as a ratio, let's put it like levels 1-59 combined = 5% of your toon's life, and level 60 = the other 95%.

Worst: I would say raids, but frankly its Blizz's customer service in general.

the atmosphere in the game, i just love the zones with all the diffirence in them, they really give out the warcraft thing

pvp is ruined since battlegrounds were implented, i hope they add the outdoor pvp locations real soon

not much variation in quests
where's the freaking WAR ?? I mean i loved the quest Counter attack from the Barrens as you fought with orcs and trolls against centaurs it was just awesome, sadly there's hardly any quests where you fight together with small groups of npc's. (ashenvale horde quest, silithius field duty quest)
customization, can't change hair(but it is something they would like to implement in the future), no changes at armor, ....
still i love the game and eventually i believe it will improve on several parts

Worst: End game consists of raiding or instanced PVP, neither of which is incredibly fun. PVP revolves around 2 unorganized masses zerging eachother, and an unfair advtantage given to thoes who grind rep or raids (neither of which takes skill, just dedication/a bot/shared account). Raids revolved around scripted encounters that take powerful guilds only a few weeks to figure out (the hardest part of raiding is getting gear to match up against the enemy. THink this treadmill of nonstop progression was a mistake on Blizzard's part? I think not. They are geniuses at milking us for our money.)
Best: Class balance is probably the best I've seen in a long time. Getting to 60 was incredibly fun, full of flavor and interesting content. Too bad it got stale quickly after reaching 60. Oh, and its kinda pretty.

LOL funny i never ever took notice of that for some reason.The buildings are all the same model you are right.Some look exactly same,some are just the run down version of that building and others are just 2 of same buildings.
But that has escaped my eye for some reason so must have been presented in a way i never noticed.

the guy that created it is hilarious. notice the picture with all the lvl 60 rogue's? where he claims all lvl 60 rogues look the same? thats from the european TEST REALM, where Blizzard made pre-made characters for the tester. not to mention EVERY SINGLE ONE of his complaints is in EVERY SINGLE OTHER mmorpg as well. the website is made by a typical hater, he only picked WoW as a victim because its the most popular

5 mage's some use staff some use 1h +off hand but they all have netherwind armor and look all the same

Good - fantastic and easy going until you hit 60 and have done it all
BAD - dam bluddy stupid frustrating LAGGGGG and being disconnected all the time when it gets busy, especially on Arathor which is still waiting for migration. I spend most of my time logging back in or dying due to lag. Its got to the point i think i will cancel my subscription and reduce my stress lvls - ooohhh hangon, cant do that as cant get on support site and accoutns is down too, now thats convenient isnt it

Now wow isn't the exact same like Lineage, but it is very far from being on the top end as far as customization goes. Especially if you are looking at the top end items for your level, in that case the item candidate list rapidly drops to only a few per slot.
At the end game most players look almost the same (all warriors wearing valor/wrath with a few other pieces tacked on, a few different cloaks).
Bad: The game is based on raiding, so the games basically EQ-Lite. When they say they are going to have more non-raid content in the expansion, they mean that you will be able to do the raider left-overs with a small group of level 70's. Personally I don't like sloppy seconds. Not to mention this won't fix the gear gap at all.
PvP is eternally screwed in WoW. In part because of the way the game is made, and in part because Kaplan and the development team is so out of touch with the players.
Best - after careful consideration I have come to the conclusion that there is only one thing I realy love about this game. It's the feel of a toon while you control it, it moves so naturaly and gives you the feeling of controling a litle thing, person, he walks, runs, dances, emotes almost as good as a real person, I never once expirienced that "this is a game" feeing when walking around
- that and the sense of humor, I liked it from the starcraft and warcratf days, howmany of you have clicked maniacly on every single litle sprite just to hear what he will say, you can do that in WoW too, they say some funny stuff, but I liked the ones from starcraft and warcraft better, that, then Timmy The Cruel in Stratholme and he yelling TIMMY!! TIMMY!!! And ofcourse the Broken I.W.I.N. Button with note under it that says "If only it worked!" and last but not least: Goblin Jumper Cables, hahahaha
Worst - I just can't decide between comunity and end game raids, lets just agree that comunity is to blame that end game sucks that much! Not all comunity is bad, I did have few people with whom my playtime was fun and interesting, and that was because we did all sorts of stuff that wasn't in the script, like kiling the Gryphon Master and THEN "burning" the village.... but all that stoped when they started raiding, only time I could see them was 15 minutes before they whent in, and to top it off, I didn't have any real life friends in it, so it was going downhill for me real quick, and did I say that I realy don't like those raids, after 2 hours, max, I need to get out and do something creative, the repetition is killing me....
Well that's just me, and I think that other then those 2.5 points aren't even worth discussing!
