i'm wondering about the whole own land idea... i know other games will have that option also. I've heard it wasn't very sucessful with UO mainly because there was no space left for players later on in the game. I was amazed to go on Ebay and find plots for sale, some costing hundreds of dollars. Do ya think that might also be the case in EQII? If no, then what will they do to prevent that? I must admit, the owning of land on a mmorpg is new to me... just courious about the concept.

The things I've heard about EQ II only boost my enthusiasm to start playing. Even the negative comments give me hope of relief from constantly looking to my next fight with a goblin or trying not to lose count of all the orc heads I've remove from atop those oafish shoulders. I've been waiting for something that requires a bit more intelect and skill other than swinging a sword. I welcome EQ II with open arms and sigh of relief.

Actually the guy said a year and a half away in the post in 2002, so it is not quite as bad as saying it was half a year away, but that aside, I think it is pretty interesting to read the old posts and see how hyped people were about things, now that we know more.

It certainly makes you wonder about the hype for some of todays games in developement, how many more people are gonna be dissapointed in the future?

If we follow the release progression pattern...

    EQ3 for 2015 you think?

2015 is my bid for EQ3, you pick others! :)
