Every screen, I'm asked if I want to install macromedia's flash player - and every screen, I say "no". This got old at about the third time. The FAQ doesn't even mention "flash", just the requirement for cookies. You might want to explain what flash provides that users might actually value.
On the good side, this only happens with internet explorer - in mozilla, I get really slow loading times, but don't get the pop-ups about flash. My guess is is that mozilla has equivalent functionality built-in, but the main effect is to increase download times.
