thats pretty funny.. funnier part is they don't really give a damn about any of this stuff lol
  • hmmm, they should give a damn --- just about every area now, including the EULA they look like fools.

Someone should mail a copy to SOE...they can use the money from the lawsuit to make up for lost subscribers

nah, they fixed it almost as soon as the hawk-eyed poster posted it. But omg, you should see the excuses for it the fans gave. Hilarious and sad at the same time.

Yeah, but it makes you wonder if they had the box disc already printed. Unless they are releasing digitally only? Dunno myself, but THAT would be funny

There is no box. DIgital only. And $54.99 upfront at that (top end pricing) with $14.99 sub (top end pricing) or a "credit" that limits and restricts you without a subscription. And trying to slap an NDA on you! LOL

They're releasing digitally only because theres no publisher willing to take on the game for a retail release lol.. But that still doesn't bother me.I'm gonna buy the game regardless cause I just might be a lil

or perhaps I haven't given up hoping this game eventually shapes up into a pretty good game..

so maybe wait a few months then Thornn? I think thats what most should do. Let them work some of it out before it has a chance to disillusion you right away.

Yeah, I've been trying to follow the fiasco for awhile now, but I've still missed a few bits here and there. I love the pay for beta idea tho. Very revolutionary lol. I think their investors should also be expecting is a mass rush of people wanting funding since they will obvioulsy fund anyone. Unless there has been any new development there as well?

lol,I donate my 10% a month to charities already hehe   But honestly,I eat 50 dollars worth of food on average every 3-5 days and how long does the nurishment last? In about 8 minutes our stomachs are full and 4-5 hours later were hungry again.

Another example..I could decide to go to Great Adventure tomorrow and spend perhaps 6-8 hours there riding roller coasters etc..Then I'll spend a good 15 dollars or so on food to go along with the 60 dollars it costs just to get into the park..Thats not including the money I'll waste playing games to win stupid prizes..So we'll say I'd spend a good 85 dollars including gas to have fun for 8 hours...

So,I figure either way I'll get my moneys worth in purchasing D&L even If the enjoyment is short last.. But I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy the game for more than the 8 minutes it takes me to eat a filet Mignon and definitely more than 8 hours 85 dollars will cost me to enjoy 1 day at Great Adventure..

In addition to the EULA they should include a warning label that pops up when you log on

"Due to the jaw dropping incompetence of the Developers and the constant occurence of game breaking bugs, we advise playing this 'game' on an empty stomach to avoid getting vomit in your keyboard"

nah Naar, then the NDA would have a ring of truth in it. Impossible.

I guess u can call me a VERY impatient person since I always purchase MMO's the day they're released..I did that with DAOC,SWG,Horizons,AC1,AC2,Shadowbane,EQ2, and WOW..The only two games I actually waited on was EQ Live and UO..Only because I was still playing Asheron's call and UO when EQ first went live..And I didnt know about UO until a year after it was released...

And the funny thing is,I played EQ Live and UO longer than any other MMO released lol.. And those happen to be the only ones I didn't buy on the first day it was released,hmmmm.. Perhaps that should tell me something. But I'll just ignore my feeling and waste another 50 dollars on something I'll most likely be quitting anyway when Vanguard and AOC comes out if not sooner..

honestly, I would wait. Im not saying dont buy it but I am saying save it for a couple months.Let the others go through the sweat and grind. Give yourself a present in a couple months -- if all goes like they say, you will end up in a game, still within release date vicinity and hopefully (!) wont have the problems from the previous months. Watch the reviews and play it smart. You will prolly be happier. Or be able to treat yourself to an extra day at Great Adventures.
