Share your Pre-CU stories with FOX News Online

Hey Fellow Exile PRE CU Players,
I just noticed on FOX News web page they have created a brand new page that will focus on the Video Game industry. It's at http://www.foxnews.com/technology/videogaming/index.html
Since SOE has ignored our pleas I figure here is our chance to raise the stakes by sharing our opinions to FOX News. I realize asking you to bring up old memories from Pre CU can be heart breaking, but since FOX News tends to be the main stream for people to receive their news, it might elevate our concerns. Hell if FOX News receives enough legimate complaints from us they might consider this issue newsworthy and do a story on TV.
So if everyone agrees with me then pass on the word to your friends to share their story to FOX News and just maybe they might allow us to have our platform similiar to CBS News.

When CBS NEWS Online decided to publish our stories about SOE and their blind quest for more money, I was shocked and excited that a main stream news media was interested in listening to us.
Most of you remember how CBS Mail bag forced Smedley to respond to a particular email written by an anonymous former player.

One e-mail in particular was a stick of dynamite. Written by an anonymous source, it claimed that Sony Online Entertainment had released unfinished software, and it went on to attack company president John Smedley for an alleged narrow focus on only one thing: exploiting the Star Wars license.
"I'm bent about that one," Smedley admitted in a phone call. "As a person, I have zero problem with criticism. I don't have any problem whatsoever with our customers complaining. I think it's perfectly legitimate, and I think it's perfectly legitimate for you guys to have a mailbag with hate mail from Star Wars Galaxies. But of all the mail, that's the one that bothered me because it's filled with a bunch of BS."

Well, let me increase your post count by saying that out of the two major news agencies that air in America FOX is the most accurate. I will admit that some of the shows that air on the FOX NEWS Network can get out of control, but most of them are good. Now, you can watch CNN and I'll watch FOX, simply because I like it--just like you like CNN, if that is the new agency of your choice.
Regarding the OP's message, he just wanted us to use a major news agency to inform the world of our grief. I know LickyDickYoo, you probably don't like me because of my opinions. I might be totally wrong there, we might turn into good friends. Time will tell...Let's try to keep this thread on track with the OP's intended discussion.

Just a quick glance over that page seems to indicate it is more concerned about the money side of the games industry (which is why we got the NGE me thinks) rather than the gameplay side of things.
As to the comments about FOX news and their fairness, I used to think that way when they first started out, but watching how their coverage changed when the transition from the Clinton to Bush team occured, I just can't say that is the case. I can understand being conservative and pointing a nice light on issues that are important, but here are a few examples that I thought went beyond reporting and became cheerleading:
Remember those huge anti-war demonstrations in New York and all around the world? That day, Bret Briar dismissed them as nothing more than a few oddballs and not being worth mentioning or showing on air.
Last Christmas and the war on Christmas, FOX news aired the following caption on one their business show "Economic disaster if Liberals win the "War on Christmas"?"
A week or so ago, a similar caption warned about the threat Al Gore's documentary on global warming posed to the economy if his "crazy ideas" gained traction.
When they start reporting how the billions of dollars in damage caused by hurricane Katrina cost the economy and how the effects of drought have on the agriculture business, I might start taking them seriously again, but until then, I will get my news from elsewhere.

Hate Bush all you want (I do), but atleast he was not the socialist turd that Clinton was/is... the guy got a BJ while sitting in the Whitehouse, cheated on his wife, et al. This is the scumbag that represents you CNN/liberal types. Whats so wrong with family values? Guess uber-liberal (Communist?) hollywood has already brainwashed a lot of people.

Did you know that most liberals are young people? Thats because socialists know they have to brainwash the youth with their media; youth are the future. Look at the 60's and the liberal college professors that brainwashed the youth then (a tactic straight out of Marxism, brainwash college kids, the future leaders of our nation). Watching News in genral is waste of time, as far as Mr Moore goes he should live by what he preaches. And as far as you saying I am punk well I can live with that, atleast I dont watch a Program with a pervert on it who likes little kids and a bunch yelling morons who have no clue what the heck they are talking about, I guess that would put your daddy in a whole different section then.

Well I really thought my OP clearly stated asking all my fellow PRE CU fellas to simply voice their concerns and opinions to another news affliate that is interested in worthy news such as the rape of SWG by SOE.
I never imagine my thread would be hijacked about which news media sucks. Look I feel the same way as each and everyone one of you; pissed off at SOE for ruining 1000+ of hours of my time and money just so they could try and see if they can increase their pockets.
I figured if another News media source took hold of our concerns just maybe the powers-that-be might be willing to bend just to shut us up.
