This is very, very absurd.
I'd like to suggest a notion (in sincerity, without kidding around):
It is possible that real sex and cybersex are, though similar, different experiences. Not simply two points on a linear progression of sexual accomplishment. (Where cybering is poor quality and real sex scores very high). Maybe the faceless stranger intrigues you? Or the lack of responsibility.
I have elaborated enough and more, some of you will probably fail or refuse to understand what I'm talking about. Others won't, and there's no convincing you, so I won't bother. It is not a major point anyway, since your belief that people should have better things to do than cybering doesn't really affect anybody.
Why don't we spend all our time doing the one thing we like best? (Whatever it might possibly be, this question is not meant to target any specific activity, but to point out that you [probably] don't stick to just one thing.)

I usually don't express myself like this, but since I am around here and can be bothered to post in this inane discussion to begin with I must confess that I wholeheartedly (if more modestly expressed) agree.
Yet, I have this deeper urge to provide people with my view upon the world, and make them all little clones of me who agree that the people who find that a certain experience is pleasant, regardless of what else they may be doing, how often they do it, and how much they enjoy it, have good reason to seek that particular experience and enjoy it.
One could argue the morality of porn at all, but that's another discussion.

No, I agree. It's just not something I myself would do.
If someone finds comfort in it, and it controls their sexual drive (everyone has one, no matter how it is satisfied), then more power too them. I was just pointing out one of the many creepy situations that could be.
But honestly, I see no harm in it. I'm just letting people know that because the target audience is predominantly male, that is most likely what you're going to see, regardless if their avatar is male or not.
However, if someone can satisfy their sex drive with it (because when it gets pent up, that's even worse), then I could give a damn.
I, myself could just think of more preferable things to be doing.
What disappoints me is that Sex MMO's are basically at the state Sex MUDs were at ten years ago.
