I just orderd final fantasy XI for me and my brother

Hiya its me monkeytroll anyhows i just orded This game 2day so hopefully it comes in 2 days anyway i orderd it for me and my kid brother (its coming up 2 his 16th) for his birthday , im also gonna pay for the first 2month he plays so i was wondering if u got any spare items and what not or if u have 2 openings in ur guild them please reserve them for us 
anyway once they arrive i will post on here are names and servers thanks guys

Also i really hope (from what i read in these forums) that it isnt 2 hard for people in 2s (I.e me and my bro) to get a good group , also is it possible that people can have a group off 2 and never have to wait hours for a group invite? just wondering this stuff before that games comes lol ( which will be 06/06/06 in case u wana know )

Can people using headsets on PCs talk to other people using headsets or what?
Ive browsed these forums and i couldnt find the answer to this qeustion so i forght i would put it in here insted of starting a new thread lol

Duoing is better than trying to solo, definitely (and gets better after you both get your companion NPCs), but the best exp is still in the standard 6-man party.
FFXI is not friendly to background processes (alt-tabbing or otherwise trying to shift focus from FFXI will result in dropping your session and bouncing you back to the PlayOnline screen) but it does let you run stuff in the background. People can and do run Ventrilo or TeamSpeak while playing FFXI to get voice communication with other PC users. Of course, this doesn't allow them to talk to PS2 users or Xbox users (Xbox users actually get an integrated-with-Xbox voice chat that they can still use while playing FFXI, but again, they can't talk to anybody but other Xbox users).

Btw will chocobo raising only be aviable for people with the treasuer of aht urhgan expasion or is it for everyone?
