Let's see...1999...AC then DAoC, AC2, SB, Horizons, Lineage 2, AO, CoH, EVE, WoW, EQ2, Ares, SRO...
Probably missed a few Beta's in there.
With the exception of AC and EVE, all of the above either resulted in an End Game of raiding big bad boss mobs or big bad castle sieges. In both cases there usually was more non-playing coordination (planning, voice comms in game, etc) then there was the actual event, ie. playing the game. I've found this most dull and then repetetive
So to all the worldy MMOers in here, what games did you like that did not have a Raiding End Game.
I'm back in AC btw. I can't stand playing a game where you spend more time finding a group than actually playing the game. AC is very single player friendly...friendly to bots too, but don't get me started.
Dec 20,1999: AC1(DT).Since then:DAoC,SB,AC2,L2,EvE,WoW,SoR

Currently playing: ArchLord - L58 Knight
LoTRo - L13 Dwarf Guardian

That's about it for now, i'm an old AC1 player and i'm pretty much in the same boat as you, i keep trying to look for that next great game and i've been around the world virtually trying to find something similar to AC1 and yet nothing exists.
But on a brighter note, if you can stick it out until Hero's Journey comes out, this game will have GM'd content all around and constant new content being made all the time. But if you're looking for a pvp element i'm not sure if HJ will have it or not. I'm sure they will considering they do have PVE and PVP muds. Possibly a special PvP server.
But one decent korean game is that Silkroad, it is more about PvP for end-game, with various factions and guild missions to complete for special rewards. It is also a skill based system vise the old class based system. Lag tends to be bad during the day because of the fact it is Free to play and i guess that is when most koreans and asians are playing. They seem to opening up new servers periodically to try and get the pops evened out. If nothing else it is a good hack and slash adventure game to kill some boredom.
Other than that you have tried pretty much all that i have... And of course Bioware has a new office in Austin dedicated to MMO developement. Should be some good games coming from them in the near future
hope this helps
could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please?
