to anyone who's played dungeon siege before..

Ok, I was so bored that I reinstalled Dungeon siege and started playing it again. 

Here's the question

In the Uterrian Penninsula map(multi player map), just about the middle way from Lang to Quillrabe, there's a off the road place called cave of despair and it has bunch of warning signs saying don't go in, so of course I went in.  It's a dark maze so you can't see where your going.  But after wondering around everywhere, I found an item called "skull" and also i can see a place that looks like a shrine of some sort but I can't find any way to get there....am I just wasting my time?  I've tried looking for walkthroughs/forums and no info at all.

u are not wasting your time just a bit tricky to get to the "shrine" / "chest"
