Hey when i installed FFXI on my computer useing a RADEON X300 series graphics card my graphics on the game were all blured and skrecht so i could barely make out charachter faces , why is this when this is one of the recomended graphics cards for the game also the game did not install on my kid brothers computer because its too old but it fits in all the basic requirments for the game as listed on the website , why is this?

You can use the FFXI configuration utility (look in your start menu) to improve the graphics resolution. It defaults to 640x480. There's also a registry editting tool called MogToolz for managing your graphics setting including high-res settings the standard configuration utility doesn't provide. I've used it and have liked the results.

No, that's for PlayOnline. You should actually see three config utilities: one for PlayOnline, one for Tetra Master, and one for FFXI. You want the one for FFXI. From your Start Menu, choose All Programs, PlayOnline, Final Fantasy XI, and select the FFXI Config Program.
