The same goes for the plurals "PCs" and "NPCs" (not PC's and NPC's, unless you're talking about something a character owns).
Personally, I believe it is a sign that we are near the End Times when so many advertisements -- from companies whose ad budgets presumably include enough money to pay for copy editors -- misuse "it's" for "its." I'm seeing this one from way too many people who ought to know better.
Apparently the distinction between possessives and contractions is no longer being taught.
Next up: spitting into the wind, cursing the darkness, and expecting the mountain to come to Mohammad....

So when I am bombarded with leetspeak and players who describe everything or anything as 'gay' (how on earth can an object like a sword or breastplate have a sexual preferance?), I can only conclude that their thumb is their only saving grace.
And by the way some people play, even that looks doubtful...
