Great start

Well decided to have a look yesterday looking for a lift after spending 5 days tearing my hair out over DnL and i was shocked.

Downloaded the game installed it created a charcter and account patched and omg wots going on it works i can play erm what do i do now - well perhaps im goin ott a bit but was really nice to see something so simple and work.

So flitted around for an hour it was bout 12.30 am by time i got in game asked soemthing in chat got an instant /tell from someone askin me if i needed help he then kindly answered couple of questions for me.

I then had a slight sound issue so thought ill send a ticket easy to do and within about 2 mins i get a gm /tell advising me what to do to reslove. Ive played tons of mmo's and never got such a quick responce. UO was probably the best ive pld for gm responces untill now.

It was a real pleasant surprise. As for the game looks great little cartoony but hey im picking, feels good, noob area is helpfull whilst not cumbersome to plow through all in all im impressed and feel I can find a home here for a while

Glad you had a good experience. Ive not found a game with a better communitity than that in SoR. AO comes a close second though.

Im pretty new to it myself. I tried it a long time ago but couldnt really get into it back then and resubbed a few days ago. Lovely looking game with some amazing scenery! No sure of it lasting appeal though as it seems like a big grinding game with little else, other than crafting to pass the time. Still, im going to stick with it

I agree!! Im just ended the trial and it is by FAR better than DNL. The game has great graphics, great support, good community, and the game works!!!  I still can't belive they released DNL in the state its in!!

I'm still a Pioneer to DnL/SoG - and still regret it (and will definetly never log in again...).
SoR had it's problems at release (which MMO doesn't?), but there's absolutely no comparison to how DnL "launched". If DnL had been launched before SoR back then, we (the former? SoR hardliners) would simply have swallowed 99% of our past complaints, including devs not talking to us, server problems, balance issues and stuff being not in game (until now *gnaargh*).

The Mauritians blatantly lied to their community - and they still do.
Let's be happy with what we have in Paris

And all refugees from Ganareth will be very welcome on Atys, even though you won't be able to fly on your dragons...
