Lok since it is where I got my first break into a really good guild and where I spent most of my grind time before and during the CU.

I hate the grass planets, the terrain graphics aren't very attractive and the only planets that the cities seem realistic to me are Lok and Tatooine. Coronet is a city that juts up out of the middle of a field with nothing around it as most of the other cities which to me totally detracts from any city feel, I could never get into the feeling in them.

I always hung around Tat, don't really know why.  I guess I'd go back there again if I was to re-sub.

SOE knows what you like... You don't!
And don't forget... I am forcing you to read this!

I went to Dant on my first day on the server, My mates wanted to show me how hard they were I suppose, and I thought it was the coolest place they were part of the Sunfall rebels on Tat *cough* rebel scum *cough* I eventually went onto start a small Imp town on Dant, my second favorite was Dath, we used to have naked Dath runs from west to east across Dath, had to be naked to stop the cheating Master Rangers, did anyone actually manage it yes only 1, but was always a good guild outing *SNIFF*

Tatooine was cool since it was in the movies. I liked the desert effect. My favorite, though, was Lok. Such inhospitable wilderness...only one "safe" place, if you don't count the imperial outpost. I loved running through Lok exploring. Oh for pre CU.

It was Correlia for me...but I see there are not so many pro Correllians...

Dantooine, with no player cities, as when the game was released

Dant or Dath...tho Dath was pretty awesome.....but then again, I liked the background music on Lok....lol

Naboo is my most favorite. From rolling grass plains, forests, mountains and waterfront....it is beautiful. Talus, Corellia and Dantooine are nice.....great for mining. Rori is just too bleak.....always at twilight. Dathomir is too dark of a planet, but the crevices/cliffs do add to 'danger'. Lok and Tatooine are desert planets, and they have always amused me. When I think of Yavin, I think of running into trees and rocks, and no sunshine....like a toned down Dathomir.

Space doesn't do it for me...never did. Maybe I would feel differently about it if I did not suck at it so badly.

    Endor

EDIT: Although technically I suppose it is a moon.

Yes Endor is a moon...but moons work well enough...and I loved the background music on Lok too...

BTW, the background music IS very important for my choices...

I always wanted to see an artist rendering of the Maw Installation in CGI and thought we'd maybe see that in Ep III.  I always found the lore of the death stars construction to be intriquing.

The world I think swg needed all along has always been Hoth.

Make Hoth a Pvp planet and let us pvpers have some fun in your mmo.

As for Obriak.  48 hours a week in a video game is exceptionally unhealthy.  If that is actual playing time you have to consider the fact that it has become a dangerous addiction.

Some of my worst mmo memories are from grinding quenkers in dantooine so definitely not that.

Corellia (coronet) was always a lag fest, making your computer freeze for 5 minutes when you left the starport and rori, talus, yavin were pretty deserted.

My "best" planet would have to be tatooine. I have some fond memories of pvping between AH and bestine, until the novelty of pre-cu wore off and i started to see it for what it truly was.

You're right! I remember 6 or 7 years ago I had a period when I used to play 3 days non stop....and (of course!) I had problems at the office...I was tired all the time etc...

But I think it's a VERY good idea to build different planets for different type of players...SOE should do this instead of trying to merge RPG with FPS hoping to catch everyone's attention...

Yes, they should build different planets with different rules of conduct...

(Of course I suppose technically it is impossible for NGE to exist in the same time with pre CU...)

    Yavin
I liked the solitude and the many odd ruins. Anyone ever run across that burning tree ? Very cool
Not to mention the Sith Temple, I spent weeks around that place before they fixed the rebel theme park (when it was empty)
Then you had the blacksun spawns. Plus the woolamander temple to make easy credits selling harrower bones. The blueleaf temple was a fun place to clear out. Of course there was also the geo cave. Plus the jedi enclaves too.
Deathstar wreckage spread out all over the planet.
To me Yavin was the best place around and yet for some reason even during pre-cu it was always empty

I also loved Yavin.  I kept wishing they'd open it up so we could live there.  Endor was my second choice ... or perhaps I just liked them because I couldn't live there.

Give me the myriad, marbled colours of the great black any day.

For the less creative: means I like space bestest.

    Dathomir.

PvE was good, didn't look like a bunch of puke-colored flowers (like Dantooine does).  Besides, I wanted to feel heroic/villainous/uber/betterThanTheNextNoobInEisley when I played SWG, and while I know it wasn't much of a challenge with buffs and composite armor and brandy and all, I still felt like a bad venomous baznitch taking on a whole damn rancor lair and whatever other adds were stupid enough to wander into my killing spree.  And there was always the mandatory mayhem amongst the Nightsisters and Singing Mountain Clan.

Endor was also nice, if only for no damned housing everywhere, and rampaging through the Ewok villages was a blast.

Post-NGE, I'd have to say Azeroth, at least until a decent MMO comes along.
