Planetside - A Sony Online Entertainment Created Metaverse and Virtual World

I would like to show you all the light of Planetside. It is the best game on the market, by far. This is not an opinion, but a fact. If you don't believe me, well, you're wrong. In Planetside, the game is all about gore. It's about murdering things, and it is truly amazing what goes on in Planetside. Whenever I feel like it, I can sit around with my friends and online girlfriend, and actually blow people up. I like to watch them die and then melt into the ground, just like in real life! You all need to see the light and see the amazing things people in Planetside create, such as Boomer Traps. With the click of a mouse, a whole squad of enemies can die in a fire. I want to show you all the light, for I am the teacher and you are the student.

    How can that be since they respawn back? and if you die there is no real penalty other than travel time back to the fight.......

    Try a game with a REAL death penalty....... hmmmm that would be what?

    I enjoy planetside.  It's one of the 3 MMO's I play (Free is good!)

    Well, when I had Station Access it was pretty much the onyl game I played. Best thing SOE got anyway, but that do not say much.

    played it, canceled in 2 weeks, IT SUCKED. and that part where you talked about gore ....... THERE IS NO GORE DUMB$#% There isnt even blood. Also when you shoot a gun, your shooting a pencil machine gun or something, all i see are lines coming out of my gun. LOL I would rather play NGE SWG

    One of the best MMOs ever made. I could care less for those that like to 'pwn', but this game is great for those that love team-based combat and tactics. There's nothing like being stuck in a bridge fight with several hundred other soldiers and vehicles. Missiles and bullets and junk whizzing by your head.

    I didn't like the introduction of the BFRs, dunno why developers always think they need to change the game to fit certain cultural stereotypes when marketting abroad (BFRs were made to give the game a chance in Asia - not that it was necessary to be honest).

    It's still a fantastic game, and the only PvP game that I could ever play. Probably because it requires hand/eye skills, and not macros and phat lewt.

    Anyways, it's even free to play now. Grab it, play it, get yourself in an outfit and have fun.

    Agreed, planetside was one of the best MMOs ive played.

    Which is one of the reasons why i think Huxley is going to rock. You'll get alot of the PS playerbase move over to Huxley, players who are already experts in teamplay and FPS skillz which will create one hell of an intence, fun and competative game.

    Actually they are much more then that because you should count variation of different empires since you can actually loot them!

    As a VS i recall i always looted and stored jackhammers and mcg and rarely used my own empire lasher.

    And this game is a FPS not a RPG and people who treat it as a RPG are always dissapointed.

    Also the game is about not just troops but vechiles and planes.
