Aoc vs Vanilla Ice Cream

DabbleDabble Member Posts: 1,043

Just thought it would be a nice discussion topic. My oppinion is that Aoc is for the more experienced online players (at least I hope it will be ). I've battered my way through vanila ice cream for all the gentle comment from the spoiled kids. Aoc looks really promissing and I hope someone has something better to say than I do.

And for all u hwo like vanilla ice cream, please keep eating it.

  • No game can compete with ice cream.

First off, what the heck does "I've battered my way through vanila ice cream for all the gentle comment from the spoiled kids" mean? Other than that (call it a hunch) you feel superior to certain people because you've played games longer than they have. Congrats, btw. Assuming kids won't play Age of Conan, because its rated mature, is a little like assuming kids won't play grand theft auto for the same reason. Why do people have to make themselves feel better by being elitest and labelling people with different preferences "Carebears" or "spoiled kids" or implying they're childish with that vanilla ice cream crap? Don't bother answering, it's rhetorical.

There always has to be that one moron who just can't understand humor. Did you really think he was serious about comparing a video game to ice cream? Did you really think he was trying to make a valid point? How the hell did you miss the sarcasm of his post?

What? I thought he was speaking seriously! I even started a clan "Vanilla Ice Cream Raiders".. and we even have an ally "peanut butter jelly anchovies" to wage war against the "dark star chokolade fudge masters" (I hear the coat decapitated enemy head's in fudge and lick them). What am I supposed to tell my new 7 Vanilla members? That it was all a sweet mistake? huh? .... huh?

Interesting take on the OP's post. Understandable that we had different takes on what he said considering the near illegibility of his writing (see my previous post for an example). You seem to be a bit confused, unfortunately. Calling games "vanilla" or comparing them to vanilla ice cream is a fairly common way to imply that they are bland. I'm sorry you were unaware of that. By the way, if he wasn't "serious about comparing a video game to ice cream" and "wasn't trying to make a valid point" then his debatable sarcasm was by your own admission pointless. I agree. I feel the same way about your misdirected name-calling.

    Dear Archos,

I made this post to mock the people trying to make comparisions between AoC and existing games in other posts. I copied and pasted a "AoC vs WoW" post and replaced "WoW" with "Vanila Ice Cream."

I can not begin to tell you how sorry I am you were confused and deceived by this tactic. Please let me know if there is any way I can repair the damage I have done to you.

    Love,

    Dabble

And you did this why? Comparing things is bad to you? Why choose a post that is so poorly written it's almost unreadable? Why replace WoW with Vanilla ice cream, which, as I posted above, is interpretable in a way that makes some sort of sense? That was supposed to be a joke? I read so much crap on these boards by people that can hardly construct a sentence and your post was such amazingly subtle satire that it blended right in. Neat.

Since you're offering to make ammends, I suppose I'd like your next satire to be humorous, or have an evident point. By the way, my name isn't archos.

I've already explained why I responded the way I did once, I see no need to do it again unless you're not actually reading anything I write. Feel free to mock me for whatever faults you imagine I have. I will continue to find your unintelligible "satire" and juvenile "funny bone" insults severely unfunny. Oh no, I don't find you amusing! The only way you can rationalize such a worldview shattering event is to tell yourself I have no sense of humor! I'm sorry I have yet to see you write anything remotely humorous. To make it up to you I won't return to this thread of yours nor read any more hilarious zinger replies.

First of all if he was comparing WoW to ice cream it would be rocky road. >.>

Take things less seriously man, it will make life a lot more fun.

Seems like Arch is the only one who either still does not get the joke, or is too proud to admit he didnt understood it and laugh the whole thing up. My advice, laugh it out bro. Life will seem much better if u are able to laugh at yourself for your silly mistakes, trust me, i do that all the time. .. and for the Nth time, OP was making a well placed joke against all those AOCvsWOW AOCvsCHUCKNORRIS posts

I am also insulted by the insensitivty of this thread.  Did you ever once consider that Archaos may be lactose intolerant?
