I would suggest you read all the forums first. Take everything with a grain of salt. From what friends have told me, the game is almost dead. These are RL friends as well. I dunno myself since I haven't played in months.

I resubbed for 1 month cause I wanted to place a few houses and take care of some unfinished business.
You're not missing out on anything. The game's even worse now after the latest publish. In addition, you have the senator episode and that's reason alone to cancel or stay canceled.

Remember if you go back there are different sets of respecs to be had one is the inital group that nge gave it's players then the resepc device then the npc respec
If go back use an alt to figure out the respec.
The other reason to go back would be to use the house pack up feature so your contents would be in the data pad in case they deside to do a server merge and or housing purge
Nada wrong with just looking around see whats changed again. Nor would i worry about what anyone else says about your'e going back.
Either A) you will find you like it and want to stay or
it was nice to take a peek at the place again but changed/changing to much for your current liking
If haven't logged in since nge check to see if your account is still active for a while certian folks had axcess. But again try with alt first so you don't mess up main

Vets resubscribing are meaningless.
MMOs live from new players. 1 box = $50, monthly = $15. Station pass is slightly different, but still. Those $50 are cash in hand, subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.
Future of SWG depends only on new players, returning vets simply don't stay long enough, since there is a really bad lack of content (player and static)
