I think the 3D Graphics are not the best of all, this game is so fun and entertaiment with the 2D graphics, so if u dont like this game just dont play, go to play another crap, but let us play this "bad game" coz we like it, and i think the graphics in maplestory are so nice

I'm Going to disagree and agree with you all at once.

 

first,

Its very stupid u judge a game by graphics went it has great graphics for 2d, i would understand if its runescape graphics, the worst 3d graphics in an mmo that my eyes had to witness.

i agree that saying maplestory does....suck.

everything you do, EVERYTHING YOU DO, is grind.

yes i played off and on this game and looking back  i realize that yes, the graphics and character models wer fun and cool but, it doesnt make up for the reason why ur head is smashed into your keyboard from the constant grind

yes, first of all MS sprites are beautiful, well designed, cute and colourful.

amoria, the last town is absolutely amazing. sweet.

i play Maple when i need something colourful, and i need to relax.

you can have a good time exploring, especially with a hidden class, like my bandit.

all the zones in Ossyria are abs. great: aquaroad, orbis and not to talk about ludibrium.

if you like cute anime chars, maple is for you. stop.

if u want a cute char, you'll spend your 3.37 euro (my case) to have one with a personal style.

take a look to the ranks chart: every char has a unique, great style.



sure it's nothing complex or hard to play, and sure it's repetitive, but i dont think this is the point.

the point is:

are u looking for some hours of fun, killing cute monsters in abs. stunning 2D backgrounds?

MS is for you.

it's to "fill" time.

you can deal with the "boring" part of the game looking for new maps, new kinds of mobs and the numerous hidden streets.

explore, explore, explore and you'll stop complaining about the boredom.

i also have to add that i started to enjoy it past level 20. i started to have some different skills and so more things to do.

and as regards the buy/sell system, www.basilmarket.com and the problem is easily solved.

2-D is last generation as you can see, Super nintendo was basically all 2-D. Our new next generation console the PS3, the Xbox 360, and the Wii are not 2-D anymore. Our technology has improved. Sooner or later PC's will be more sufficient and could handle intense gameplays. 2-D can be fun but gaming is moving on. I have to admit, Maple Story is quite boring. Lots of grinding involved. Basically pure grinding. Not enough quests which makes it a PvE game which is boring. The world is small. I mean i can travel everywhere in a couple of minutes. Yes, i know they are upgrading versions but it won't give such a huge impact on the game itself. Cash shop items can make it fun but it won't help much. Game is FILLED with hackers. Every that has alot of mobs, i usually see a hacker ruining my gameplay. I only play so I can enjoy it with my friends from real-life. This game is filled with idiotic people. They all say GM's are lazy when they should know GM's don't just ban people and watch the server. That's not all to it. Their job is more than that. Too many kids playing. It pisses me off when someone walks right up to me and say "sex pls". I'm like what the hell. That's all I have to say. Don't flame me on this 'cause I know someone will start talking trash to me.

I honestly don't see what people see in this game. There is no PvP, no skills, 2D graphics, horrible community, too many hackers, and you can get killed by being humped by a mushroom.

well if you dont like the 2-d just because its trying to be different from all the other games, dont play it. Yes, there are waay too many hackers and idiots on the game, but thats life isnt it? hell on Silk Road Online, i saw a mob of 20 hackers in one area. but thats on any free game, people look for easy ways to get what they want, just like life. and i love maple because its free, when you do find those rare nice people, they are awesome. And its just really awesome for being free.

Personaly, I happen to think 2D games kick the crap out of 3D. They normally have better comunities, leveling, items, pets, spells, and it keeps going.

And its not like making Maple Story 3D is going to make it so much better. If anything it will be worse.

It may be 2D but the graphics are good for a 2D game compared to others. The game it self doesnt get that boring or annoying except for those ppl who complain too much. Besides the skill animations in this games a good compared to most 3D games(in my opinion).

If you dont like 2D games why did you play it or try it?(assuming from ur post u played it)
