World of Warcraft

WoW is suppose to be a great game, but many things cross my mind that might come in as a problem:

1.  The high minimum system requirements really scares me for some reason, althought my computer is fast.  I feel sorry for the people with 700mhz out there...

2.  Past experiences have told me in-game GM's are usually never on (EQ for example).  I wonder if wow will provide good GM's.

3.  Will WoW people be nice to each other?  If I was a newbie and asked some high level person for some tips, will he tell me to F-off?

    1) By nature, or actually by planned obsolescence, computers become outdated. If you are hoping to play a game in early beta right now, with anything less than, say, a 1.6+ chip, good luck to you. This certainly isn't particular to WoW.

Are you equating the beta-sign up lag to in-game server lag ? Cuz thats just ridiculous. . .

    2) EQ GM's were readily available in the games heyday.

    3) This isnt Diablo. The game's culture will develop according to its user-base and guidance from the live team. Wait and see, rather than forming preconceptions. . .
