The new MMORPG...

ah it looks like the new mmorpg Hero Online has been overloaded and the servers have crashed or something as i cannot log in or get onto the website. I know that it had 450+ users on their forums leadin up to the release at 6pm GMT (11 AM PST)

I have yet been able to log in and actually play among numerous attempts... ah well i guess i'll leave it for a couple of hours and then try again

If anyone has any information on what the problem is and maybe a fix for it please let me know

I'm sure you're right. They were supposed to have the client download
available yesterday to ease the burden today, but it still wasn't ready
by the time I went to bed (and I live in the same time zone as their
American servers). I'm just going to wait for a few days, since I'm willing to bet the starting areas once in-game are going to be a bit nightmarish at first, too.

Yeah, everythings going to be crowded, they have 4 servers, Moon 1 to 4.
I downloaded the client earlier today about mid-day but i tried last night and it wasn't available.
The server must be terribly overloaded and i can't blaim them for struggling with all the bandwidth.
It should cool off eventually but its the start for every game where people are trying to be the 'best' as so to speak and get the head start.
The website is still down, it says error connecting to database but i think they should have fixed it soon.
as eager as i am to play i think i wont be able to for another hour or so

Yay, its coolin down. 30 minutes ago the whole netgames website was down. Now its has part of the website and teh Hero website has "database error" now.

Ah, and now they have called a 30 minute maintenence on the servers.
Hopefully the stability should have been sorted and they might have added more bandwidth to the game.

Its an Hour long Maitenence now.

They were pretty optimistic with a 40k user closed beta test; so the delay should be expected based on the media type.

M-Game is still pretty novicey when it comes to hosting mmo's; there only long term mmo thus far was Knight Online which took some time to spread rumors on. Hopefully they learn from this and when they release Open Beta make a Torrent.

Yeah, now they have changed maintenence to 11pm GMT (3pm PST) So it doesn't look like it's going their way... lol

a lot of peope did get into the game me got to lvl 8 then they went down for a 30min matinence... that was about 1h 10m ago  they have said it was coming up later then they said but now there is no time for when the seavers is coming back.. so i suggest to people go to sleep go watch a film have a cup of tea.. or 10 and just wait and watch

Well the servers up, They added 2 extra servers to it too and it seems to be running quite stable atm
I'm level 7 ^-^
I'm not sure i like the game play though, the content seems good...

Sigh... yet again it has gone down for maintenence, I'm going to go to bed. I'll continue my 'beta' testing on Hero Online tomorrow hehe.
