My closest to max level must be, uhm ? World of Warcraft with a 47 mage.

Any one nkow how to cure my problem ?

    Continue playing that character.
Do different things at times to break the monotany. Craft, PvP, Quest, Fish, Cook, Grind. If you keep yourself stuck doing one thing you will get bored fast.

Find a guild..Hone your skills ect ect.

I'm working on my 5th Lvl 60 in WOW :-)  Want to try different classes hehe

ok correct me if im wrong but u have a short attention span, usually the reason for this is kids

my brothers play mmo's as well and they are 14-15, the reason they get sick of mmo's so easy and think every game sucks after a month is because they have short attention spans and get bored easy

    mmo's = for older gamers

No, mmo's are not for "older gamers" ive played computer games for 9 years, so I can call my self a pretty old gamer.

And since you play world of warcraft, you can't be an older players, since it is a game for kids.

    Have fun

You know, I am personally a Ryzom lover. I got into Ryzom is CB2, loved the game, played until just a month after launch, and quit. Now my problem is that when I join up, im so low level, I can't really even go to prime roots or ANYTHING, and there are NO low levels.

It's this way in any game though. All good games have been out for so long, that there are no low level players actually playing them anymore. Therefore, you're stuck at the bottom of the heap, with no one to play with.

If there was a way to start out on an old MMORPG (since they're the only ones worth anything) and have players around your level to group/guild with, it would be fun.

It's impossible to find good guilds/friends when you're new to an MMORPG these days ::::21::

I wish there was some way to find them, maybe I could actually play an MMO for more than a week then ::::05::

i have never reached top level either, as the poster above me said, no matter how good a game, i cant stick with it if theres no low levels to group with!

It was like that in WoW and DAoC, CoV was 100 times better when  in a team/group! Im waiting for a new MMO like WAR and everyone iwll be low level!

I gotta say WoW has the be the easiest MMOG to reach max level in.  Like a previous poster said, you can play 1 hour a day and do it.  The reason youre getting discouraged at lvl 47 is that after lvl 40 you no longer really get any new skills/spells.  Every new spell you buy is just a better version of a previous one.  Personally thats always my motivation to level: being able to do new cool stuff.

But think about this as some motivation:  leveling means more talent points, and when you hit high 50's you can start getting high end class gear and start thinking about raiding.  You just need to find the right place to level.

I know people complain about the WoW endgame but hey you havent gotten there yet and I personally didnt get sick of it until like 3 weeks of being lvl 60.

Try Ryzom now? The Ruins of Silan (starting island) is full of low levels - new players, and old players who are eager to experience Silan. It's also easy to find a guild - there's a stickied list of them in the Guilds section of the forum, with faction and RP-level denoted.

    :)

Don't feel bad. Bfor I played WoW I could NEVER get to level 20. I would ether quit or make a new character.

It's a question of dedication, really... And you're definitely not the only one with the problem. I, too, am cursed with never hitting max level.

But to me, that's what makes online games exciting. You can invest hours and hours into the game and still never beat it because it's just so huge and time-consuming.... So even if you do quit for a while, you'll always know that there's still a lot left for you to do if you rejoin. If you want a game that ends quickly, play some regular rpg on some regular console. MMORPGs are supposed to be neverending.

I'm with you, except I don't consider it a problem.

I've played EQ, EQ2, WoW, CoH/CoV and had a great time playing them.  Spent alot time on each for that matter.  Played EQ for 2 years.  Never reached max level in any of them.

    Here's my best so far:

    EQ:  59 Bard

    WoW: 32 Warrior

    EQ2: 21 Berzerker

    CoH: 36 Tanker

The important question is this, did you have fun while you were playing?  If so, then they were all sucessfull.  I've heard it said that in MMO's, the journey to max level is more fun then being max level.  I believe that fully.

    To the Op.

The problem may be level based games,Skill based games seem to keep advancment more intresting.Level based games end up with Huge gaps where you see allmost no adavncement at all.where skill based games seem to show it more often holding on to your intrest longer.

Level based grinds suck.your not alone.

Guildwars is a good option for you it seems.you will hit max level fast and just relax an injoy the game,.It allso has a massive intence grind if you want it,Unlocking all Skills/items.

I play guild wars factions once in a while, have a level 20 Elementalist, It's a good game, but it has a bad community, and it is hard to make friends and communicate with them. Sad but true
