How I would have made WoW into a great game

1. Unrestricted PvP (only option)
2. Single player quests for all the best gear/resources in the game.(quests would be non-instanced and can be interrupted by enemy guilds)
3. Group quests and raids for same gear as 2 but with different designs. (raids would be non-instanced and can be interrupted by enemy guilds)
4. Guild quests for special seige equipment and mass production of gear for their guild as well as NPC guard hirlings that can be upgraded through guild questing.(guild quests would be non-instanced and can be interrupted by enemy guilds)
5. Faction based with penalties for killing friendly faction.
6. Conquest format. Each realm and their villlages and cities can be raided and held by attacking forces. Once a force gains all strategic points in a given territory (outposts, gates and such). The guild claims the territory in the name of their faction.
7. Mines can have structures placed on them to produce resources in larger quantites. They would need to be defended by the controlling guild. This can only be done by guilds.[/p]
]8. Full loot on death. You die. You lose everything you have on you.[/p]
9. Seiging and raids would be epic PvP encounters complete with raiding camps, seige engines of all types and hundreds of players present.
10. Mounted combat. Lots of mounted combat.
11. Thievery and Sabotage would be well represented. Thieves can steal from players, NPCs, Mobs and rob merchants. Players should be able to sabotage enemy seige engines and mining structures as well as be able to pick locks and scal walls.
12. PvP quests that genrate missions to kill various players of other factions, sabotage enemy works, assainate enemy guild leaders.
13. Naval Warfare. Build battleships, trade vessels and fishing boats. Boarding parties and cannon fire of course.
If WoW did this it would be the best game ever.

How I would have made Counter-Strike into a great game:
COWS! lots and lots of cows!!
When you aim at someone, a gnome pops up in the middle of your screen and screams, "shoot 'im, shoot the bugger,but shoot ye pansie!!"
Mounted combat.. lots and lots of mounted combat
More cool armors, like with spikes and stuff... maybe some skulls and.. I dunno, spikes?
Instead of guns, they can throw boobies at each other? You know...? Everyone loves boobies. More boobies, I think. Excellent.
And so on and so forth... About the same relevance as this one.
"This is not a game to be tossed aside lightly.
It should be thrown with great force"
Some people think it already is.
Some people wouldnt like all those things you mentioned.

Some of the ideas are good, but others just wouldnt work in WoW.
-I agree in mounted combat, even if it was just like travel form combat
-Hmm... naval warships and sea battles. How would you go about this? I dont think this would work in WoW very well.
-FFA PvP - this would be OK as long as it was only on certain servers. Although it might destroy whatever teamwork happens between members of the same faction and give super lag to everybody...
