Hello. I have over 100 hours /played across my 2 level 60s. Today I deleted them. DO NOT ROLL ON ANY SERVERS BUT THE ABSOLUTE MOST NEW ONES IF YOU ARE A HARDCORE.

I can invest 40+ hrs a week, and at the most optimal of raid times. But being that I never bailed on my guild, which showed signs of horrid skilllessness and detoration, I am stuck guildness w/o the ability to raid high end content. Unless I wish to spend my time in WoW doing things I've done 100x over already, I am through with this game.

Here are a few words to those just reaching level 60:

If your guild is raiding MC, and you notice that you catch on to ANYTHING about the game (IE the encounters) faster than your guild leader does, you need to /gquit. If you stick with them they will likely not succeed past Razorgore in BWL.

If your guild constantly spams /ginvites even though you can successfully fill a 40man raid group, you need to /gquit. The more members you have, the more time it takes for everyone to learn an encounter and your progress slows to a halt. Out of all the best guilds that exist in WoW member count is inversly proportional to rate of progress.

Join the most uber guild you can. Bullsh1t with the best players of the server any opportunity you can. Otherwise you are doomed to join any of the thousands off mediocre guilds that cannot progress at the rate which Blizzard can release content.

Read the indendent forums for your particular server. Certain guilds seek certain classes/resistances. Be aware of what they need (especially on the newest servers) and how their guild's stability is.

And, finally, for the love of God, do not become the person who has played their heart out only to get the shaft because the guilds have already set their rosters in stone. I had the gear, experience, and abilities but my characters still got the "delete".

thanks for reading and I hope I saved some people.

You CAN handle the truth...it's just really slippery.
