prophecies pvp = factions pvp ??

hello all. 

i wasnt able to find anything related to this therefore i'm posting it here, currently i own prophecies and i really like the pvp in it.  i was wondering in order to enjoy all the new pvp features in factions, do i've to own it.  i mean will the pvp in prophecies include players/features from factions?

the basic components of PvP are the same.

However, there are some key differences:

1)  Players can control cities and take over opposing faction cities in Factions;
2) Alliance vs Alliance battles.  A guild can join up with other guilds in an alliance to fight larger scale battles

If you really enjoy PvP you are missing out on a lot of super cool content.  To enjoy this type of content you have to buy Factions.  Also there are some new elite skills you won't have access to (and some non-elite) that could be pretty handy to have in PvP battles.  At least IMHO.

There are also some different maps/types of arenas as well I believe, not sure if they carried over to Prophecies, as both games use the exact same game files, and they intertwine quite a lot.

If you love PVP then i think its a must that you should buy factions. like what the guy above said it offers an interesting aspect of taking over cities and doing alliance battles which are so fun. alliance was a great addition to pvp when it came with factions. I say buy factions, i think ppl with factions have an advantage over players who dont have it.
