EQ or FFXI

Ok, i know a couple of other people might have brought this up, but what would be better, Everquest(the first one that's been out for computer for a while) of FFXI. I heard with FFXI that for every char you have, you have to pay 1 extra dollar, but EQ price stays the same. Plus, the fact that you can save money buying the evolution pack for EQ which has 5 of the expansions for 30 bucks instead of the FFXI which comes with the expansion, but costs 50 bucks. I mean, the graphics and gameplay as far as i can tell for FFXI might be a bit better then EQ, but which one would you guys choose, given with what i sayed.

What i dont understand is, why are humans so imperfect, yet are perfect in Gods eyes. It's wierd, seeing someone you love walk out on you, but to God, i guess it would be the perfect thing for a person to do. Life, a mystery, or just the hell of being alive?

Quite a silly question.

It is obvious to go with EQII.

FFXI is just not as well done as EQII will be.

If you have the system specs to run the demanding EQII, then go for EQII.

Plus, see all the reviews for FFXI. You be surprised that you ran it against EQII.

IG you want to compare EQ to FFXI, consider this:

EQ's servers are low on people and once the new line of mmorpgs comes, it won't stand a chance.

Don't get either game and go with one of the new mmorpgs coming this spring, summer, and fall.

Its just not worth the money, by the time your character starts to develope for EQ or FFXI, both games will be empty. Well, more like EQ will be empty and FFXI will only have japanese people.

EQ2 will be a lot better game than FFXI could ever be....I would say that if you are talking about original EQ then FF might be better...maybe

Ya, EQ2 will be much better then FFXI will be,  i played both EQ and FFXI and i didnt like either of them that much, my good friend Farseen loved EQ but i didnt cuz i didnt like the fact that i had to run everywhere!! :@ i hated that, but i realized shortly after playing a few other MMORPGs that run is expected now. I had thought it was stupid b/c i was still use to the teleporting and horses from UO. Anyway EQ2 will be much better, as FFXI was fun for teh first little bit, but once you reach higher levels its gets alot worse, as trying to find a party as a warrior sucked, items got way over or underpriced on the Auction house b/c of some stupid ppl thinking that they will beat everyone else in selling there items.... . So overall i believe EQ2 willl be significantly greater, but htey must balance fighting in the later end of the game, as you shouldn't have to party to still lvl affectively..    - Just My Two Cents

Yeah, i totally agree with Dukassen

He made the mistake of disliking EQ because of running =P but then again he had never played a real First Person MMORPG ! FFXI was the worst MMORPG ive played, in my opinion. The graphics were awesome, but everyone looked the same. The game got really boring after you got to a bit higher level as well.

Currently we just got into EQ again. Im a Wizard and Duka is an Enchanter! Fun stuff! Were having a blast once again. (And he doesnt mind the running)

Were wating for EQ2 now but this is awesome playing EQ Again. FFXI was a let down, come back to EQ my friends!

 Lol it's not even out yet. I don't understand how you can say a game is better than something else when it's not even in BETA yet.

 Give FFXI a shot if you want, i enjoy it alot.

I have given FFXI a shot. I didn't like it. And my opinion (hint the opinion, not a fact) is based upon stuff that's been released.

These are just my opinions keep in mind. I didn't like FFXI for what they displayed for a game that has been out for a year. Not enough content. Very fun for the first week and a half. Then things get repetetive, too repetitive. And you never really looked forwards to anything. Like spells, white mage spells were quite chincy. Poison defence, earth defence, water defence....Just not worth the time to level just for that.

But your opinion counts too! So dont let me ruin your fun
