Moderators deleting other moderators posts! way-to-go /bmoc, lmao
There was a sticky'd post by a mod in the official forums, telling everybody not to post any info about the swgemu on their boards (else ban-city, /wavesbigstick, grrrr, etc.) Well, seems somebody actually ended up reporting that post and it got deleted, lol. Apparently anything with "emu" in the text gets insta-deleted, no need to actually read the post/thread I guess
It was like a bad "Spy vs Spy" comic playing out in the real world for our personal viewing pleasure, lol (imagines swgmod001 and swgmod002 bonking each other on the heads endlessly with big cartoonish mallets) See, just goes to show that you CAN actually get worthwhile info from the official forums, if what you're looking for is a good laugh
[ I cut and pasted this post from the thread that was talking about how stupid the mods were for doing this, (was deleted quick, go fig, lol) http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=swggpdiscussion&message.id=925831&view=by_date_ascending&page=1 ]
"Uh, we had a slight weapons malfunction, but uh... everything's perfectly all right now.
We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?"

swgmod002 seems to be doing low-level moderation. At least the level of his involvment hints that.
Second warning sticky said, that official response about emu from the SOE will be available on tuesday, during work hours. This makes me believe, that moderators that had to contain the spam at that time had no aproved method of handling it, and they could not consider the strength of action against such violations.
My guess with regard to that would be, that once TH or one of higher level mods showed up, he knew how to handle it, and to avoid drawing attention, removed those posts.
This was also the case a while back.
There was a debate about something or another, and one of the mods commented in it. I believe it was a picture about dumbing down combat system, one of those pong style parodies. One of EQ mods (with sig) commented about: Between deciding whether this is violation or hilarity, the fact that this thread isn't locked yet shows my view. A while later that thread was deleted.
I believe it comes down to chain of command and associated authority. Some of the moderators have limited authority, and can only act under certain circumstances, but cannot take any further action. So I'm assuming swgmod002 case you mentioned would fall under this.
But I don't know the details about your side of story.

Actually the post said to post anything SWG-EMU related onto the General Star Wars Discussion board and not the Gameplay Discussion Board.
Which I did, and got banned for anyhow. Stinking bags of puss ! "You're account has been banned from this site for 'Trolling pre-CU Rhetoric'."
RHETORIC!? Bite me. Ain't that the pot calling the kettle black? Rhetoric! I swear the little jerk would be dead had he said that in person.
Bring on SWG-EMU. I'll buy a set of servers offshore in some country that gives a flip just to shove it deep up their .... *swallows Diet Dr. Pepper*.
Needless to say, I'm done. No more Sony, no more Lucas. George, your name is mud. Pick your friends more wisely. I'm just here to spread my "Rhetoric".
