Tommorow, i will Begin my Transtition From MUDS to mmorpg and I am looking for advise on which game to purchase.

I have been suggested horizons since my friend, and several of his friends play it. However the combat seems alittle bland With little thought involved in it.

I perfer to have to think when combating Players and NPCS alike.

I've had the chance to create/customize items in other games i've played- single player or MUD. However i never really saw the need to. So if the forging/potion making is bland so be it as long as it excels in other areas.

I like a semi-rpg Community where what i do with my time matters to someone and where being part of a town excels past merely living there. to guarding it and activly becoming part of it's ecomonic system. also where the players play with the story in public but can still be themselves in chat, and where respect goes beyond what/who you can kill but how much honor you have, and maybe some nobles or something

Some kind of pk- Restricted to an arena is okay with me, but being able to solve a problem (should it could down to it) outside of the arena is nice

Open to all opinions (i was really into FFXI)

Wait until all the new MMORPGs come out.  The old ones arnt that good.  These new ones (WoW, Dnl, UXO) are way better than any of the MMOs that are already released
