Hello, I'm an old Final fantasy online player, with over 4k hours
I appreciated that you could do whatever you wanted , chat with many people at once and dedicate all the time in the world on craft skills or secondary activities like helping people , etc
The problem was that competition was too harsh , and even with my lv 75 char it was as hard as ever to earn currency to afford items...
Anything out there ? Oh, and I don't like Player versus player much ... someting cooperative and merry
Thx guys

No more?
yeah , I know WoW could make me miss FF...
What about Everquest 2 and PSO universe?
Could they satisfy a typical FF retired player?
*shrug* Try Ryzom. Very friendly, helpful community, and one does not feel overshadowed by higher-level players, because you can catch up to them, be self-sufficient, join a good guild, etc. It's a classless game - you can do whatever you want, whenever you want. The new starting island, Ruins of Silan, makes it easy and fun to get into the game. I heard of a new player who made 1.1 million dappers (currency) before going to the mainland.
Anyway, who knows, you might like it. Free trial is unlimited in time, and does not require credit card info.
