So I was strolling through Best Buy just looking around when I happened upon Matrix Online.

"Hrm.  I've already looked at all the other MMOs, might as well give this one a look."

So I pick it up and what do I see first?  A brand new price tag stating $0.01.

"Hell, I'll give it a shot for a penny."

And after hurling the penny at the cashier and making my mad dash for the door here I am. 

Any recommendations on a server?

It's funny about these games.  I know what many players will say about them, and I know they are flawed, but I still found some good, fun hours of playing in The Matrix Online and Auto Assault.

I haven't played either lately, but with my Station Access Pass active again, I plan on checking out The Matrix Online again.  I used to play on the Linenoise server, but it has been merged and is now called Syntax.  If you are a roleplayer, you will likely find others on this server (if they are still around).

Look for my character in-game, named Chanter (after my old EQ enchanter )

I just let my PlayNC account for Auto Assault lapse.  I haven't played in a few weeks and got back into EQ (with the new progression server), so my reason for not playing is not due to lack of enjoyment.  I thought AA was a lot of fun, it just needs more players, more content, and a little more flavor.  I heard good things about the latest patch.

Just wondering but are any of the three servers a pvp-rp server?

syntax is a good choice for pvp and RP.

but youll leave soon, hopefully you wont but most of the people who join MXO expect to have it be perfect and leveling handed to them like in WoW.

The grind here is bad, inless you really want to PvP or RP at the max level then just dont bother.

when you want to pvp take vector (hostile means pvp)
when you want to rp take syntax.

I started on enumerator (later merged in to vector) and I liked to pvp. then when the QA server came one (couple of months ago) I played there and it was a server like the other 2, not hostile, means no pvp. man that was lame. just stupid boring as hell.

really, I think we all agree that the mission get v boring after a while, well what the point then on playing on a non-pvp server. I know there is some pvp on those server, but not even close to how much pvp there is on vector. Anyone remember that there were 3 factions made, 1 for each server. well the vector faction just won every pvp battle, just because everybody in there had pvp'd a lot more.

I'm not saying that you should really pick that server, I stopped playing anyway so I don't care :P. but when you want to pvp you should. I myself really like pvp (as you might have noticed :P) and I think it's v stupid to first type /pvp before you can get ganked :P

Why dont companies just stop trying to milk us? Auto Assault is an acceptable game but I refuse to pay £10/mo for it. If it was say £1.99/mo I'd be addicted as would everyone else when the servers fill up.

I got mx0 for £1.99 - feeling wripped off.
