Well, for a video card thers only 2 that are the best for gaming, they are Nvidia and ATI Radeon, so first go on google find out the lastest video card from each company and compare them form online testing between the 2 cards showing how good they are, then choose you card. From what I remember ATI crossfire and Nvidia Quad slide are the best.

So far I have heard that the AMD Athlon 64 FX is the best processor for gaming, for best quality of gamepaly I say FX is the best, from the user rattings all over USA this is the best. Heres a link to the processor.

    http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/ProductInformation/0,,30_118_9485_9488,00.html

For a sound card, I personaly like Soundblaster, but there might be a better one for gaming.

But I prefer a Alienware Aurora, for gaming since its been rated for best gaming comp. But for you heres a link of the best custom gaming pcs, See I dont know about best Bios and the other good stuff so check this link out for more info.

For online buy shiping fees should be on the link above, but since iam not from Canada I don't know about the real prices.

if you are looking to build the PC for around 500-700 dollars, I would suggest the following:

nVidia Geforce FX 6800 OC (PCI-E Edition)

    AMD Athlon 64 3200

OCZ Dual Channel 512 DDR RAM /w copper plating x2 (standard model, although you can get platinum heat sink if you really want to waste some cash)

Any Western Digital SATA Harddrive (depends on which size you have)

Then get any Gigabyte/Foxxconn motherboard that supports PCI-E x16, Dual Channel RAM, has at least 400mhz FSB, and SATA.

That should about cover you for the next 1-2 years ::::20::

EDIT: Also, wrong forums for this post ::::15::

Depends on your price range like the above post.

    500-1000

Build a damn good WoW rig.

    1000-2000

Build a damn good rig altogether.

    notebook wise

1300$ - dell e1705 with geforce 7900.. use the 750dollar off coupon code.

or buy an hp d5000t with geforce 7400 - decked out round 1250ish

    ------

    videocards

    the 256mb nvidia 7900gt runs boug $250ish

    the 512mb version is 450ish

if you want a low-mid range card that would run WoW good.

    get like the 6600gt = 100-180 dollars.

I would never buy a pre-made because you are paying at least 20% markup on top of the parts. If you really want to do it right, go to one of those sites like alienware or falcon nw or whatever. Build the PC you want on their "instant PC maker" pages, and then just copy the info down, and search the parts yourself on newegg or the like. You will find/get the parts for a lot cheaper and you can pay some store $10 to put it together for you ::::15::

Yup your paying for the name.

Alienware = 3000.00 increase in price over simple component purchase and install.

Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL!
