Hey all, I used to play SWG before the NGE, and like many others I unsubbed, because you just can't pull that on a community of vets, but I'm not really here to talk about the failings of SWG and all that other good stuff.

Lately, I've gotten bored, because with all the new MMOG disappointments, I still haven't found a new game since November. However, no matter how bored I ever get, I will never want to play the POS that is SWG again, however, even when the game was good, I often found myself on the forums more often than not.

Seeing as there is nothing to do for a bit, I decided to check up on my galaxy forums (I was an Ahazian). Re-reading some of the forums gave me a bit of fun for ten minutes as I remembered the good times. I thought maybe I would try to log in and post a bit, see if I couldn't talk to some old friends who are waaaaaay more tolerant of SOE than I am.

Problem is, you need a valid account/Subscription to do so. And I will never pay SOE one dime ever again, no matter how much I want to talk to old friends.

So I was wondering if anybody had any forum accounts I could borrow. Maybe somebody had paid a year ahead just before the NGE. Maybe somebody plays on an account but doesn't have a forum account yet. If you loan it to me, I promise not to do anything stupid with it, like go on a mass-Anti SOE rampage (unless you'd like me to do so) or whatever. Just PM me if you think you can help a fellow gamer who was also affected by the NGE.

I've see a lot more people from Ahazi on the emu boards then on the SWG forums. I've looked around, and for all the time I played, I can't recoginize one person. And the only ones who still use those forums are people who want to rant about how great the game is or how terrible it is. Which... I just don't see why we can't do it here. It's basically the same thing. We're all vets bullsh**ing to kill time... In fact, I think every forum now consists of SWG vets bullsh**ing to kill time.

But yeah, I'd watch Firefly...

Sounds like it. You know, its only until recently anybody bothered to tell me about the EMU project...... I think I'm going to have to kill all my friends lol.

There was no hope for quite a while, and now there is some. Add that to the fact that thre is a Stargate MMO in the works and things have never looked brighter.

and as for firefly, I think this'll be my, 5th or 6th run through. Although, its better than most *hit on TV

do the free trial and you can post in galaxies forums. i went there to suggest playing a fine nc soft game

I think if you start a trial account then never log into the game, your forum account remains.

I'm not sure ablot a trial account doing that.  I do know that if you have an old account that was offered the 14 day trial for vets, that if you never logged in for the trial, then your forum account works indefinately. 
I don't know if it's the same for trial accounts, but I do know that trial accounts are limited to that noob forum for 2 weeks.

i did the trial, it applied to my cancelled account (?) and i was back in the forums. going for the ban
