Thinking of play FFXI again. . .

in Final Fantasy XI
About a year ago I bought Final Fantasy XI. And it was pretty fun, but I got bored of it after a few months, and canceled my subscription. I then bough WoW, and I loved it. But, I'm now getting very bored of WoW. It's kind-of lost it's "fun factor" due to a crappy community. So I'm considering canceling my WoW account and coming back to Final Fantasy XI. But I'm a bit worried I may be wasting my money and time. So I"m asking here: What do you love about FFXI? Why do you think others should play? I"m interested in hearing what current player think of the game.

    Well, I"m sold :P I'm a sucker for community, and that's what I'm looking for in a MMORPG. Thank you ^-^

    Dont.... dont go back to that game. It's Evil. It's a waste of $12.99 per month. I quit the game 4 times and restarted 3 characters. I mean, its not that bad untill lvl 50. lvl 55 to 60.... i went bout 2 weeks of seeking infront of Jueno AH... jus staring.. It coulda been that nobody needed a drk.. but i mean cmon... drk pwn... even tho i dont have SATA yet.. (im pretty sure SATA is lvl 60) But also, gil is another problem. Everything is just costing too much. Last time i played was August last yr and everything was getting too high in price and I bet everything is prolly double the price. And lvling is just too slow.. 250 exp is jus way too little. And when making partys... theres never a rdm or a bard. I could go on but this should do for now.
